Jabra Extreme pushes the limits of noise cancellation technology to bring you the clearest calls you’ve ever had on a headset.

So what’s so extreme about Jabra Extreme? That it gives you amazing sound, no matter how extreme the conditions. At work, in your car, on the street – no worries. Jabra Extreme is a wireless, Bluetooth headset designed to give you stellar sound, regardless of your location.

Jabra EXTREME Titanium close up of top at an angleIt does this in three main ways:First, it utilizes Noise Blackout Extreme, a noise cancellation technology that basically mutes your surroundings.

Second, it has a dual microphone that picks up your voice with astonishing clarity.

And finally, Jabra Extreme senses the noise level around you and automatically adjusts the volume. You can walk from your car, through a crowded train station and into your office without having to touch the controls. And your caller won’t notice a thing.

    • I hear crackling noises in my headset.

Bluetooth is a radio technology which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the device it is connected to. You should be able to have up to 10 metres (33 feet) of distance between the headset and the connected device when there are no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).

    • Why am I receiving static on my Bluetooth headset?

All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following steps:

      1. Keep the headset on the same side of your body as the phone.
      2. Make sure there is a direct line of contact between the headset and your phone. The Bluetooth signal may have difficulty transmitting through walls, buildings or people. Static or interference is sometimes environmental. Interference can be caused by e.g. computers, cordless phones, microwaves etc.

  • Compatibility

    • Is my Jabra headset compatible with my mobile phone?

Jabra headsets and speakerphones follow the Bluetooth standard. Bluetooth devices that follow the standard are compatible. Refer to your mobile phone’s specifications to see, if it meets the Bluetooth standard. Products using different revisions of the Bluetooth standard also work together.

    • I am unable to take any calls when my headset is charging.

The headset cannot be used while charging for safety reasons. Please allow the headset to charge fully then disconnect it from the charger and it will be ready for use.

    • The music player starts playing when connecting to my Jabra headset.

Some phones may start the music player once it connects to the headset. Re-pair your headset to the device in order to avoid this behaviour.

      1. Make sure the headset is off.
      2. Press and hold the answer/end button for approx. 5 seconds until the light turns solid blue.
      3. Continue to press and hold the answer/end button until the solid blue light turns off.
      4. Continue to press and hold the button until a solid purple light turns on.
      5. Go through the regular steps for pairing the headset to a Bluetooth device.
