FAQ

  • Audio

    • I have trouble with the stereo (A2DP) functionality on my speakerphone.

These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. You may also simply need to reset the communication between your cell phone and the speakerphone.

      Please try the following steps:

      1. Turn your cell phone off and remove its battery for 10 to 15 seconds.  Once you replace the battery and turn the cell phone back on, it should work again.
      2. To reset the Jabra speakerphone, simply insert a small object into the hole found on the back of the unit and hold it there for a few seconds.  When you turn the speakerphone back on, you will need to follow the pairing procedure again as pairing data is deleted during a reset.

Please check your phone’s user manual for further details.

    • Why am I receiving static on my Bluetooth speakerphone?

All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following:

      1. Keep the headset on the same side of your body as the phone.
      2. Make sure there is a direct line of contact between the headset and your phone. The Bluetooth signal may have difficulty transmitting through walls, buildings or people. Static or interference is sometimes environmental. Interference can be caused by computers, cordless phones, microwaves etc.

    • I cannot hear anything in my speakerphone.

      Please try the following steps:

      1. Increase the volume on the speakerphone.
      2. Ensure that the speakerphone is paired with the phone.
      3. Make sure that the phone is connected to the speakerphone. If it does not connect from the phone's Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button then follow the pairing procedure.

    • I hear crackling noises in my speakerphone.

Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it may be sensitive to objects between the speakerphone and the connected device. The speakerphone and the connected device may be used within 33 feet (10 metres) of each other, with no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).
