FAQ

  • Audio

    • I have trouble with the stereo (A2DP) functionality on my speakerphone.

These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. You may also simply need to reset the communication between your cell phone and the speakerphone.

      Please try the following steps:

      1. Turn your cell phone off and remove its battery for 10 to 15 seconds.  Once you replace the battery and turn the cell phone back on, it should work again.
      2. To reset the Jabra speakerphone, simply insert a small object into the hole found on the back of the unit and hold it there for a few seconds.  When you turn the speakerphone back on, you will need to follow the pairing procedure again as pairing data is deleted during a reset.

Please check your phone’s user manual for further details.

    • Why am I receiving static on my Bluetooth speakerphone?

All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following:

      1. Keep the headset on the same side of your body as the phone.
      2. Make sure there is a direct line of contact between the headset and your phone. The Bluetooth signal may have difficulty transmitting through walls, buildings or people. Static or interference is sometimes environmental. Interference can be caused by computers, cordless phones, microwaves etc.

    • I cannot hear anything in my speakerphone.

      Please try the following steps:

      1. Increase the volume on the speakerphone.
      2. Ensure that the speakerphone is paired with the phone.
      3. Make sure that the phone is connected to the speakerphone. If it does not connect from the phone's Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button then follow the pairing procedure.

  • Compatibility

    • Can I use my Jabra headset with my iPhone?

You can use your headset with your Apple iPhone, but please note that while the headset is compatible for iPhone telephone applications, music applications may not perform correctly, e.g. Play/Pause, Skip Next/Previous, Volume Up/Down, etc.

    • Can my Jabra speakerphone work with other Bluetooth equipment?

The speakerphone is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher and support a headset, hands-free and/or advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP).

  • Features

    • I cannot use "Reject call", "Call on hold", "Redial" or "Voice dialing"

In order to work these features must be supported on your phone. Please consult your phone’s user manual for details.

  • Installation

    • I have pairing problems with my Jabra speakerphone.

You may have deleted the in-car speakerphone pairing connection in your mobile phone. Refer to the section in the User Manual and follow the pairing instructions to pair it again.

  • Accessories

    • How can I obtain parts and accessories for my Jabra headset?

You can order accessories at the following website:

      Shop Jabra Accessories

  • Other

    • I press the Voice button, but cannot check the battery status of my Jabra JOURNEY

Some in-car speakerphones have a voice control system driven by the speakerphone itself. Each mobile phone has its own voice control set up. If your phone supports the voice control function, its user manual should list the words that you can use to control your mobile phone.

Some phones when turned into the voice control mode suggest what words you can use to control your phone. The words are usually written on the mobile phone's screen.

    • Can my Jabra headset be charged via PC/Mac?

The headset can be charged from a PC/Mac using a USB cable, e.g. mini or micro USB cable. Not all products have a USB cable included in the packaging. If you do not have a suitable cable already, you can purchase one from our webshop:
