How do I adjust the transmit volume setting?
- This setting is critical for your voice to be heard clearly. Put on headset. From base’s display menu, locate transmit volume adjustment. Make a call to someone who will act as test person. Scroll through 12-setting transmit volume adjustment menu until your test person confirms your voice is at appropriate volume. Press OK to confirm new setting.
-
How do I adjust the clear dial tone?
- Put on headset. Lift handset and listen for dial tone in headset. If no/unclear dial tone is heard, continue adjustment. Remove base cover and locate clear dial tone switch. Slide the switch (through A-G settings) until dial tone is clear. If dial tone is just as clear in position A as in position G, leave switch in position A.
-
How do I answer calls via VoIP application manually?
- Your computer’s VoIP application will notify you of an incoming call. Remove headset from base. The call will be connected through. Manually activate your computer’s VoIP application’s call answer functionality. The call will be connected through.
-
How do I use the mute functionality?
- Mute functionality is activated/deactivated by pressing the volume control’s mute switch. When mute is activated, a tone in regular intervals is heard in headset, and mute indicator on base lights.
Note: Some VoIP applications allow remote answering and ending of calls and transmit the ring signal.
-
Does the GN9350 also work with analog phones?
- Absolutely. The GN9350 is compatible with virtually any phone on the market. This is possible because it plugs into the standard handset jack on the phone – not into the phone line itself. The GN9350’s base has a telephone compatibility switch that needs to be set to optimize its use with different phone types. Because it connects into the handset jack on the phone, the GN9350 is not compatible with cordless phones.
-
Can I pair multiple GN9350 headsets to my base unit?
- Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, in case you lose or break your original headset, a replacement headset may be paired to the original base unit.
-
I hear a ringing tone in my GN9350 headset yet there is no incoming call. How do I fix this?
- The GN9350 RHL’s sensitivity is set too high. Turn the GN9350 RHL’s control knob (at the rear of the unit) down to decrease sensitivity.
