Octophon F 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 Octophon F IP 21 / 31 / 41 Equipment:
Octophon F 200 - 900 (IMPORTANT: If any of the components are missing, then the automatic call acceptance function will not work!)
Connection: 1) Insert the 1-sided blue end of the EHS adapter cable in the universal adapter plug socket labeled "Headset symbol ". 2) Insert the split end of the EHS adapter cable into the base station. Insert the RJ10 jack in the plug socket with the complete " Telefonsymbol " and the RJ45 jack in the plug socket labeled " AUX " on the GN 9120 base station.
Software settings:
Remove the headset from the base station. Open the cover on the bottom of the base station.
Press and hold the " RESET-Taste " for approx. 5 seconds, until the lower recharging display on the base begins to light up.
RHL mode ( ffor mechanical lifter and/or receiver / headset connection )
Switch to EHS mode by pressing the " Multifunction button " on the base station once. The settings are automatically saved after 15 seconds.
EHS Modus ( for the electronic call acceptance function )
Setting the base:
Set-up the telephone switch ( A-G ) to " A."
Setting the transmission volume:
Call someone with the headset on.
Adjust the" blue volume control " on the GN 6210 base station until you are clearly understood.
Settings on the telephone:Important! As soon as the headset has been connected + set, then the Octophon must be reset, so that the EHS function can be accepted. Optionally, a headset can be set-up via the telephone menu. ( combination: *91 >Select button > Next > Headset )
