RADICAL DESIGN AND TRUE AUDIO EXCELLENCE COME TOGETHER IN THE JABRA BT8040
Packed with audio power

Las Vegas, NV (January 7, 2008) - GN, the world leader in innovative headset solutions, is showcasing the Jabra BT8040 at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. Perfect for those who crave outstanding quality sound and style, this headset offers cutting-edge audio.

Weighing under half an ounce, the Jabra BT8040 still packs a punch when it comes to high grade audio. Digital sound processing (DSP) technology and intelligent volume controls combine to reduce background noise, for crisp, sharp sound. With e-SCO technology, voice transfer between headset and phone is crystal clear. Acoustic shock protection automatically adapts and regulates the volume, safe-guarding the ear from sudden increases in noise.

In addition to high quality hands-free calls, the Jabra BT8040 is A2DP enabled, meaning it can stream music wirelessly from media MP3 players, the internet, a mobile phone or PC. With MultiPoint software, users can connect to two devices at the same time, so any audio being played (such as music) will automatically be paused when a call comes in.

The Jabra BT8040 is uniquely styled with no ear-hook. Instead it features an advanced Jabra, ‘Generation III’ ear gel; available in a choice of three sizes. This provides perfect comfort for in-ear wearing. The Jabra BT8040, measuring only 1.5 inches in length, is a sharp, stylish headset - offering the best in design, with no compromise on sound quality.
