  • I am experiencing pairing problems even though my phone is indicating otherwise
    • If you have deleted your headset pairing connection in your mobile phone, you may experience problems despite indications you are receiving from your phone. The only way to successfully pair the Jabra BT800 with your mobile phone is to follow the pairing instructions in section 1 ‘Getting started’.
  • I hear crackling noises
    • For the best audio quality, always wear your headset on the same side of the body as your mobile phone. Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the connected device. It is designed for the headset and the connected device to be used within 10 metres (33 feet) of each other, with no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).
  • I do not have the full menu in my headset?
    • Some phones will not support all features available in your Jabra BT800. Check your phone’s user manual to ensure your phone supports the available features
  • If the headset freezes
    • If your headset freezes in the menu or does not respond to any commands, you may find it useful to reset the headset. Press the pairing stylus switch ( ) and the end button at the same time.
  • I cannot hear anything in my headset
    • Increase the volume on the headset. Ensure that the headset is paired with the phone. Make sure that the phone is connected to the headset – if it does not connect either from the phone’s Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button, follow the pairing procedure.
    • Please note, in order to listen to stereo music your phone must support the stereo music profiles. Please check with your manufacturer for further information on this.
  • I cannot use Reject call, Call on hold, Redial or Voice dialling?
    • These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. Please check your phone’s manual for further details.
  • Does my headset work with other Bluetooth equipment?
    • Your headset is designed to work with most Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1, 1.2  and support a headset and/or handsfree Bluetooth profile. Use our Compatibility Guide above to see if your headset is compatible with your Bluetooth phone.
