Connection of GN 9120 Duo EHS to AUERSWALD Comfort for electronic call receipt.
Prerequisite:

COMfortel 2500


Connection:

1) Plug the 1-sided end of the DHSG-cable marked in blue into the socket of Auerswald COMfortel 2500 marked with
the " Headset symbol

2) Plug the split end of the DHSG cable into the basestation of GN 9120.
The RJ10 plug is plugged into the socket with the complete " telephone symbol " and the RJ45 is plugged into the socket marked as " AUX " at the GN 9120 base station.


Software setting:

 The GN 9120 must be set for DHSG Software .
(the GN 9120 DHSG is always supplied in DHSG Mode)

For control, Checking and setting can be carried out as follows:
Plug the headset into the basestation.

Then press the PLUS and MINUS button simultaneously for 6 seconds until the Online display on the headset starts to flash.

Now the current software is displayed on the basestation.



The radio lamp represents "RHL"; the MUTE-Lamp"DHSG" and the accumulator display represents "AEI".

With the aid of the PLUS or MINUS button you can toggle between different kinds of software.

Installation of the software is confirmed when the device automatically once again changes over to the
charge condition after about 10 secs.


Base setting:

The adapter (small wheel) on the basestation must be positioned at "A".




Adjustment of the transmission volume:

Please make a call using the headset.

Now you must press the PLUS and MINUS button on the headset simultaneously, immediately after which a beep is heard.

Now you can increase the volume with the aid of the PLUS button or alternatively decrease it with the aid of MINUS button.



As confirmation a slight beep is heard after about 10 seconds. Subsequently the settings are automatically saved.


Telephone setting:

Menu > Functions > Headset > ON

Menu > Setting > Basic setting > Headset-Type >DHSG-Headset (Confirm)

The following setting must be made for a dial tone signal in the headset:

Menu > Setting > Signalling > Headset-ring   ( Confirm )
