In order to listen to music using Bluetooth, your phone will need to have the Bluetooth music profile A2DP. To check if your phone is equipped with this profile, please check Jabra's Compatibility Guide or contact your service provider for more information.
Please try the following steps:
Bluetooth is a radio technology which means it is sensitive to objects between the headset and the device it is connected to. You should be able to have up to 10 metres (33 feet) of distance between the headset and the connected device when there are no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).
All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following steps:
Jabra headsets and speakerphones follow the Bluetooth standard. Bluetooth devices that follow the standard are compatible. Refer to your mobile phone’s specifications to see, if it meets the Bluetooth standard. Products using different revisions of the Bluetooth standard also work together.
Later versions of Bluetooth are backward-compatible with previous versions. Features and specifications of Bluetooth communication will always revert to the older version in use.
You can use your Jabra device with your Apple iPhone, but please note that while the Jabra device is compatible for iPhone telephone applications, music applications may not perform correctly, e.g. Play/Pause, Skip Next/Previous, Volume Up/Down, etc.
The headset is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher and support a headset and /or hands-free profile.
No, Bluetooth is an open standard and as such you can use any headset with your mobile phone. There is no need for your headset to be the same brand as your mobile phone.
Multiuse functionality enables you to be connected to two different devices at the same time (e.g. a mobile phone and a PC). For example you can use the same headset for both listening to music from your mobile phone and for Internet telephony (e.g. Skype or Google Talk) at the same time.
In order to work these features must be supported on your phone. Please consult your phone’s user manual for details.
You may have deleted your headset pairing connection in your mobile phone/device. Refer to the section in the User Manual and follow the pairing instructions to pair it again.
The first time you turn the headset on, it will go into pairing mode automatically.
To put the headset into pairing mode:
You may have deleted your headset pairing connection in your mobile phone. Follow the pairing instructions (refer to the section in the User Manual).
You can determine if your headset is connected to a device by looking at the flashes on the headset after tapping the answer/end button.
When the headset is on:
The pass code for pairing the headset is "0000" (four zeros).
