I have a GN9120 with this battery. What do I do? Unplug it and stop using it. Go to www.Jabra.com/battery where you can order a free replacement kit. If you use your headset at work talk to your IT manager so that he/she can order all the replacement kits you and your co-workers need at your office.
I have a GN9120 headset with a different battery what should I do? Only GN9120 with this particular ATL battery is affected by this program. All other headsets from GN and all GN9120 headsets with other batteries are safe to use
How long will it take for me to get the new battery? We will do our best to get it to you as soon as possible but please allow 5-7 days for delivery.
Can I use the headset while I wait for my new battery? No, you should unplug the headset and stop using it.
How do I change the battery? The Battery Replacement Kit will include the necessary tools and a step-by-step guide which explains the procedure. This guide can also be found at www.Jabra.com/battery.
How can I be sure that the new battery will not cause the same problem? We have changed both the battery supplier and the battery type for the GN9120 Series. The new battery uses a different technology for this application.
What if my headset does not establish a link to the base? If your headset has no link to the base station (if the green link-up indicator does not appear when removing the headset from the base station) after changing and charging the battery, please do the following:
1. Unplug the power adapter for a couple of seconds 2. Place the headset into the base unit 3. Plug the power adapter back to the power socket. 4. All lights in base station flash for app. 4 seconds. After this only the battery indicator will be lit. 5. To verify that link is established, remove headset from base and ensure that the link-up indicator appears. If this doesnt happen repeat all steps.
Please note that when the battery is removed or the power adapter is unplugged (for at least a few seconds), all customized headset settings are returned to factory-set default settings.

I have GN9120 units on stock – are they affected and should they require a replacement battery? To see if current GN9120 inventory needs battery replacement, please check production code on the label. Production codes 03/09 or later are not part of the GN9120 battery replacement program as they already have the new battery. Production codes 02/09 or earlier (examples XX/08, XX/07 and XX/06) all need replacement battery unless you have a battery with silver enclosure. Simply order replacement battery from the web order form on Jabra.com.
