While it is possible to stream stereo music from your iPhone or Apple iPod touch to your Bluetooth device, currently  iPhone or iPod touch do not support the remote controlling functions of Bluetooth headsets (e.g. Play, Pause, Stop, Track Skip). Therefore, you’ll have to use your iPhone / iPod Touch to control your music.
