Please verify that your phone supports the A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth Stereo profiles. Without those profiles in your phone the music will not transmit via the Bluetooth link. Please check with your phone provider to verify your phone's supported profiles.
The first time the Jabra Extreme2 is turned on, it will be ready to connect to your mobile phone. Simply follow the voice-guided instructions to connect.
To connect (pair) to a new or second mobile phone:
4. Follow the voice-guided instructions to connect to your mobile phone. Enter 0000 (4 zeros) if asked for a pin code.

While turning on the Jabra Extreme2, press and hold the Answer/end button for 5 seconds.
The headset will give an audio confirmation when successful enabling/disabling of the voice
Resetting will clear the list of devices that have been connected to your Jabra Extreme2.

Note: When the Jabra Extreme2 is reset you will need to reconnect to your mobile device. Remember to delete/forget the previous Jabra Extreme2 connection on your mobile device before reconnecting.
How do I connect (pair) my Jabra Extreme2 to my mobile phone?
The first time the Jabra Extreme2 is turned on, it will be ready to connect to your mobile phone.
You can order accessories and parts on the Jabra Accessories page.
Simply enter the name of your Jabra device in the search field (e.g. Jabra Revo Wireless), and browse the available accessories and parts.
Ensure that your phone supports the Bluetooth phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is in your phonebook.
Please note that on some Android phones a warning message about the phonebook access appears in the top left corner. You must select this message and agree to the connection in order to get the caller ID to function properly.
A Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive
to objects between connected devices. To avoid crackling noises
it is recommended a distance of no more than 33 feet (10 meters) with
no major objects in-between.
All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following steps:
PowerNap™ is a feature that extends headset battery life by placing the headset into standby mode when the headset has not been in use, or connected via Bluetooth, for 15 minutes.
To exit Power Nap Tap the Multi-Function button or the Answer/end button. The headset will announce ‘Power On’ when exiting Power Nap.
To answer a call when the headset is in PowerNap mode, tap the Multi-function button once. The headset
will exit Power Nap mode and answer the call.

Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) is a Bluetooth profile that makes it possible to control e.g. a phone from a Bluetooth headset when streaming music.
This is best practice for rechargeable batteries in general and is not related specifically to Jabra headsets, but to the technology itself. Below are examples of how to preserve and store are chargeable battery to help ensure a long battery life.
If you handle or store your rechargeable battery incorrectly, its lifetime may be reduced.

A Headset Profile (HSP) is a standard Bluetooth profile in all Jabra headsets that enables Bluetooth communication between a Jabra device and a Bluetooth device.
The headset cannot be used while charging for safety reasons. Please allow the headset to charge fully then disconnect it from the charger and it will be ready for use.
Some phones may start the music player once it connects to the headset. Re-pair your headset to the device in order to avoid this behaviour.
