The first time you turn on your Jabra Freeway, it is ready to pair with your mobile phone. Follow the voice-guided instructions to pair.
To pair with a new or second mobile phone, follow these steps:
Note: If two mobile phones have been connected to the Jabra Freeway, you may need to select one phone to use for calls and music. Open the Bluetooth menu and select Jabra Freeway from the list of devices.
When you reset your Jabra Freeway, the list of devices that have been paired with it is cleared. Follow these steps to reset:

To connect your Jabra in-car speakerphone and radio using the FM transmitter, use the following steps:
Make sure that your phone supports the Bluetooth phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is stored in your phone book.
Note that on some mobile phones, a warning message about access to the phone book appears in the top left corner. You must select this message and then agree to the connection in order for the caller ID feature to function properly.

Bluetooth is a radio technology, so it is sensitive to objects that are placed between paired devices and can block radio signals. To avoid poor sound quality, it is recommended that the distance between paired devices does not exceed 33 feet (10m), and that objects placed between the devices is avoided.

Low battery capacity in the Jabra headset and mobile phone may also affect the range.
Note: Some Jabra headsets support a longer range, but are dependent on the mobile phone that it is paired with.
Use the supplied USB cable to charge your headset on a computer. Some computers may have a dedicated USB charging port, which is identifiable by its yellow color or a battery icon next to it. For more information, refer to the user manual for your computer.
Some computers use a USB suspend mode to save power. This may cut off power, so the headset cannot be charged on the USB port.

When you update or change language on your headset, you may need to re-pair it with your mobile phone afterward.
Before you use voice dialing, make sure your phone supports the feature, and that it is correctly set up. Also, check the specific commands that are needed, for voice dialing to work with your phone or OS, in the user manual for your phone.
To activate voice dialing, press the Answer/end button, or tap the Voice button and then say, "phone commands".*
Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) enables a Jabra headset to access the phone book of a paired mobile phone, and announce the name of an incoming caller. It is similar to caller ID which announces the number of an incoming caller.
