The first time the Jabra Freeway is turned on it will automatically attempt to connect to any mobile phone that has Bluetooth turned on. Simply follow the voice-guided pairing instructions to connect.
Connect to a new or second mobile phone
Please follow these steps:
1. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
2. Turn off the Jabra Freeway.
3. Press and hold (5 secs) the Answer/end button on the Jabra Freeway while sliding the On/off switch to On. The light will flash blue and the pairing instructions will be announced.
4. Follow the voice-guided pairing instruction to connect to your mobile phone. Enter 0000 if asked for a pin code.
Note: If two mobile phones have been connected to the Jabra Freeway, you may need to select which phone will be used for calls/music. Simply open the Bluetooth menu on the mobile phone you wish to use for calls/music and select the Jabra Freeway from the list of devices.
Resetting will clear the list of devices that have been connected to your Jabra Freeway.

Note: When the Jabra Freeway is reset you will need to reconnect to your mobile device. Remember to delete/forget the previous Jabra Freeway connection on your mobile device, before reconnecting.
How do I connect (pair) my Jabra Freeway to my mobile phone?
The first time the Jabra Freeway is turned on, it will be ready to connect to your mobile phone.
4. Follow the voice-guided instructions to connect to your mobile phone. You will be instructed to go to the Bluetooth menu on your mobile phone and select the Jabra Freeway from the list of Bluetooth devices. If asked for a pin code, enter 0000 (4 zeros).
Please try the following steps:
Ensure that your phone supports the Bluetooth phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is in your phonebook.
Please note that on some Android phones a warning message about the phonebook access appears in the top left corner. You must select this message and agree to the connection in order to get the caller ID to function properly.
A Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it is sensitive
to objects between connected devices. To avoid crackling noises
it is recommended a distance of no more than 33 feet (10 meters) with
no major objects in-between.
Before starting to use the voice dialing feature, make sure your phone supports the feature and is correctly setup.
Also, check the specific commands in your phone’s user manual that are needed for voice dialing to work with your phone or OS.
To activate voice dialing, please press the Answer/end button or tap the Voice button and say, "Phone commands".*
This might be due to fact that the mobile phone could not forward contact details to the Jabra FREEWAY within the reasonable time, and hence it would only announce the Caller Number.
Some computers use a USB suspend mode to save power. This may cut off power, so the headset cannot be charged on the USB port.
