  • I have no sound at all in my headset

    1. If you have a standard connection cord, make sure that you have acquired a cord with the correct compatibility for your desk phone

    2. If you have a Smartcord, make sure that the 8-position slide adjustment (compatibility/clear dial tone switch) is set up correctly to your desk phone

  • People cannot hear me at all

    1. Make sure that the microphone boom arm is placed closely within range of your mouth (2 cm/1 inch)

    2. If you have a Smartcord, you have a microphone amplification option(fixed, not variable) when using position 6, 7 or 8 on the device(correct setting depends on the desk phone being used)

      If an adjustment of position 6, 7 or 8 on the Smartcord does not solve the problem, it might be necessary to acquire an amplifier.

  • How do I change the wearing style on my corded headset?

    To change the wearing style on your Jabra corded headset, try the following recommendations:

    For a flexible earhook style:

    • To attach, hold the earhook in one hand and the receiver/speaker in the other. Gently press the receiver/speaker into the earhook ring.
    • To detach, place both thumbs against the upper section of the receiver/speaker. Then gently push on the receiver/speaker to separate the speaker section from the earhook.

    For a flexible earloop style:

    • To attach, hold the earloop in one hand and the receiver/speaker in the other. Gently press the receiver/speaker into the earloop ring.
    • To detach, place both thumbs against the upper section of the receiver/speaker. Then gently push on the receiver/speaker to separate the speaker section from the earloop ring.

    For a headband style:

    • To attach, hold the headband in one hand and the receiver/speaker in the other. Gently press the receiver/speaker into the headband ring.
