FAQ - Top 5 questions

  • What should I do when I have trouble hearing the other person on the call when I use my Jabra headset?

You can try turning up the volume on the phone or amplifier. Also, using an amplifier, such as the Jabra Link 850 or Jabra Link 860, is recommended. This enables you to turn up the volume. The use of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) can adjust sound levels to match user preferences and requirements.

If the problem persists, you may consider switching from a mono to a duo headset.

    • How does a noise canceling microphone work on my Jabra corded headset?

A noise canceling microphone filters out unwanted background noise. It does so by differentiating between sounds that come from nearby sources, such as from the mouth, and those from far away, which are then eliminated. Because of this, it is important that you position the noise canceling microphone close to your mouth, no further away than 2 finger widths.
