Troubleshooting

I can hear myself (echo)
1. In this section options for specific devices are shown
  - Amplifier
    
    Turn the microphone level down on the amplifier until you find a level without echo
I have distorted speaker sound
1. - This could be because the speaker volume setting is too high
    
    Adjust the volume accordingly down on your desk phone and/or on the amplifier(if present), until your find a lower, but better setting.
I have no sound at all in my headset
1. Show options for my device type
  - Desk Phone
    
    If you have connected to a desk phone with a dedicated headset port, make sure that you initiate the call by pressing the headset button on the desk phone
    
    Please note that some desk phones need an activation of the headset port/button before button is active.
  - Amplifier
    
    Make sure that the handset/headset switch is activated towards headset
    
    If you have an amplifier, make sure that the 9-position slide adjustment (compatibility/clear dial tone switch) is set up correctly to your desk phone
    
    Make sure that the cables are correctly connected between the amplifier and the desk phone
    
    Make sure that you have connected a power supply or have working batteries(only Jabra GN8000) in the amplifier
I have trouble hearing people

    Turn up the speaker volume on the desk phone
  - Amplifier
    
    If you have an amplifier turn up the speaker volume via the slide volume switch on the device
People cannot hear me at all

    Make sure that the microphone mute button on the desk phone is not activated
  - Amplifier
    
    If you have an amplifier, make sure that the microphone mute button on the amplifier is not activated
    
    If you have an amplifier, make sure that the 9-position slide adjustment (compatibility/clear dial tone switch) is set up correctly to your desk phone
People have trouble hearing me

  - Amplifier
    
    If you have an amplifier, you can turn up the microphone volume on this device
    
    If you do not have an amplifier it might be necessary to acquire one.
