  • People have trouble hearing me

    1. Make sure that the microphone boom arm is placed closely within range of your mouth (2 cm/1 inch)

    2. If you have a Smartcord, you have a microphone amplification option(fixed, not variable) when using position 6, 7 or 8 on the device(correct setting depends on the desk phone being used)

If an adjustment of position 6, 7 or 8 on the Smartcord does not solve the problem, it might be necessary to acquire an amplifier.

The On-line indicator will generally flash when a sound is detected in the headset, when the amplifier is muted, or when you turn on the amplifier for the first time. Check the batteries or power supply of the On-line indicator, and make sure it is fully inserted into the back of the amplifier box. Also, check that the headset is functioning.

Note: The On-line indicator is not a standard item with the Jabra GN8000 or the Jabra GN8050.
