  • I have distorted speaker sound

    1. This could be because the speaker volume setting is too high

      Adjust the volume accordingly down on your desk phone, soft phone and/or on the headset, until your find a lower, but better setting. WD_33.JPG
  • I have no sound at all in my headset

    1. Make sure that you have power on the headset base

      Charge time is up to 2 hours.

    4. Try to reset the headset and the headset base

      Procedure:

      1. Place the headset in the headset base.

      2. Remove the power supply cable from the headset base.

      4. Slide the battery of the headset.
      5. Slide the battery back on.

      7. Reconnect the power supply cable to the headset base. The four battery indicators on the headset base will flash once simultaneously.

      8. Please leave the headset in the base until at least one of the four battery indicators permanently lights up. If the battery is empty this can take up to half an hour.

  • I have trouble hearing people

    1. Turn up the speaker volume on the headset

  • How do I reset the connection between the headset and base on my Jabra GN93x0e?

    To reset the connection between your Jabra GN93x0e headset and base, use the following steps. Note that the base will not be restored to the factory default.

    1. Dock your Jabra GN93x0e in the base.



    2. Disconnect the power supply cable from the base.
    3. Remove your Jabra GN93x0e from the base.



    4. Remove the battery pack by sliding the back side of the speaker housing downward.
    5. Replace the battery pack. The LED on the headset turns blue for 2 seconds.



    6. Dock your Jabra GN93x0e in the base, and then reconnect the power supply cable. The four LEDs on the base flash green once. After 5 seconds, the LED on the headset flashes blue once.



    7. Your Jabra GN93x0e is now reset and is ready for use again.

  • How do I change the wireless range on the Jabra GN9330e and Jabra GN9330e USB?

    To change the wireless range settings, follow these steps:

    1. Place your Jabra headset on the base.



    2. Press the Phone button on the GN 9330e, or the PC button on the GN9330e USB, for approximately 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash.
    3. Press the Phone button to set the range of your headset. You can view the current setting in the charge display (yellow LED). The settings indicate the following ranges:

      • Normal = up to 120m
      • Low = up to 60m
      • Very Low = up to 25m​​

    GN9330e:




    GN9330e USB:

    With the Jabra GN9330e USB, you can also select the bandwidth range settings, from narrowband (300Hz -3400 Hz) to wideband (150Hz-6800Hz).

    • How do I set my softphone as the preferred softphone in Jabra Direct?

      Prerequisites

      To set your softphone as the preferred softphone in Jabra Direct, follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. Click Settings.



      3. Scroll down and expand Softphone (PC).
      4. In Preferred softphone, select your preferred softphone.



      5. Click Apply.

      Note: If you are using a Jabra Pro 9470, 9465, 9460, Jabra Go 6470, Jabra Dial 550, or Jabra Motion Office, the preferred softphone selected in Jabra Direct will override the softphone selected on the device itself.

    • Why is my headset, which is certified for Microsoft Skype for Business, not set as the default audio device in Windows?

      You must manually define the setting for the default audio device in Windows. Follow these steps:

      Windows 8:

      1. On the Windows home screen, type “sound”, and then click or tap Settings.
      2. Click Sound.
      3. On the Playback tab, select your Jabra headset, and select Set Default.



      4. Do the same on the Recording tab.
      5. Click Apply and then click OK.

    • Why does the person on the other end of a call have trouble hearing me when I use my Jabra headset?

      You may need to adjust the positioning of the boom arm. This is especially important when you use a headset that has a noise-cancelling microphone, which must be positioned close to the mouth.

      Alternatively, adjust the volume of the microphone on the base. Refer to the Quick Start Guide or User Manual for more information.

    • Best practices for rechargeable batteries

      These guidelines apply to the use of batteries in general, and do not apply specifically to their use with Jabra headsets. To preserve and store rechargeable batteries, use the following guidelines:

      • Avoid placing batteries in direct sunlight.
      • Avoid placing batteries in extreme cold.
      • Do not store batteries for extended periods without recharging them, around every 3 months for most products.
      • In daily use, it is best to return the headset to the charging base when it is not in use.
      • Always return the headset to the charging base overnight.
      • Note that HD Voice/Wideband consumes slightly more battery than Narrowband.

      If you handle or store rechargeable batteries incorrectly, their lifetime may be reduced.

      After the End of Sales date, the Product Maintenance Period begins and will continue until the End of Product Warranty. After End of Product Warranty, the product reaches its End of Life date. After EOL date, a product becomes obsolete and is no longer improved, repaired, maintained or supported. The End of Life date is respectively 30th of June 2014 in North America and 30th of June 2015 for EMEA & APAC.
