    • My Jabra GN9350 mutes the microphone automatically when using it with Windows 7 64bit PC.

To remedy this issue, we recommend that you upgrade the Jabra GN9350 to the latest version. Kindly note that the units are NOT field upgradeable, and the upgrade process requires special fixtures and software that are only available at Jabra regional service centers. Please contact your local Jabra Support for further assistance.

  • Compatibility

    • Does my Jabra GN9300 also work with analog phones?

Yes. The Jabra GN9350 is compatible with virtually any phone on the market. This is possible because it plugs into the standard handset jack on the phone – not into the phone line itself.

The Jabra GN9300 series' base has a telephone compatibility switch that needs to be set to optimize its use with different phone types. Because it connects into the handset jack on the phone, the Jabra GN9300 is not compatible with cordless phones.

    • How to connect my Jabra GN9350e in DECT / GAP mode to a DECT / GAP base

In order to connect the Jabra GN9350 in DG mode to your DECT phone, first read the instructions for connecting a new external mobile handset in your phone's instruction manual.

Please check the system authentication code for your DECT phone. This must be set to 0000 (four zeros), so that this corresponds with the pre-set PIN code for the Jabra GN9350.

Note: With many DECT phones, the authentication code “0000” is set as default and thus it may not need to be changed.

Switch the Jabra GN9350 to DG logon mode. Remove the headset from the base and ensure that there is no radio link towards the base station. Hold down the “answer/end” button and, at the same time, press the mute button on the headset until the LED on the headset starts to flash "blue".

You can now start the pairing with your DECT / GAP base. (To do so, please follow the step-by-step instructions in your DECT phone manual).

Important: To log the Jabra GN 9350 onto your Jabra GN9350 base again, the existing connection from the DECT phone must be deleted first.

    • How do I use the conference mode on my Jabra GN9350e?

      Prerequisite:

For conference mode you need a Jabra GN9350 and at least one additional headset. You can have up to 4 headsets per base in conference mode.

      Start conference mode:

Remove the headset from the base, and set up a call.

This headset is now the "master headset" and controls the conference.

During the call, place the second headset on the base of the master headset.

The "phone LED” and the "USB LED” on the base will light up. After approx. 3-4 seconds, the "online display” of the second headset will also light up for approx. 2 seconds.

After the headset has been removed from the base, you will hear a triple signal tone in the master headset. Confirm these by pressing the "answer/end” button on the master headset. You are now in conference mode with the master headset.

Repeat this process for the other headsets participating in the conference call.

Anyone can leave the conference by pressing the “answer/end” button once. The master headset can end the complete conference by pressing the “answer/end” button.

Important: Conference mode is only possible in RHL (permanently) and DHSG modes (per call). Conference mode is not possible in either AEI or MSH modes.
