  • How to connect my Jabra PRO 92x with Alcatel Touch 4029, 4039

    Prerequisite:

    Jabra PRO 92x + Jabra LINK 14201-09

    In combination with one of the following phones:

    • Touch 4029
    • Touch 4039

    Connection:

    2-sided end:

    Insert the RJ45 plug (red band) into the red socket marked with "AUX" and the RJ10 plug (blue band) into the blue socket marked with the “phone” symbol of the Jabra PRO 92x base.

    2-fold Y-coupling end:

    Insert the 3.5 mm audio jack into the headset interface and the RJ12 plug into the bell socket of the phone. The extra connector socket on the Y-coupling remains free for connection to an IP phone.



    Now you can setup the headset for your phone with either the automatic or manual configuration.

     

    Automatic configuration:

    To start the automatic configuration, please let someone call you on this phone; wait at least 10 seconds before you pick up the phone. Now the appropriate EHS mode should be set up.

    If the automatic configuration does not work, please manually select the MSH mode. (See manual)

     

    Base setup:

     

    Set the phone setup switch to position "A".

     

    Microphone volume setting:



    Put on the headset and call a colleague, for example.
    Now you can select the desired microphone volume using the +/- button.

     

    Phone setup with system software 9.xx and higher

    No settings are required on the phone to use a headset. Following the correct adaptation of the audio jack, a headset symbol should appear in the “Phone display”. If the headset symbol does not appear, please check the following settings:

    Menu> Settings> Phone> Audio Jack> Headset Activate/Select

     

    Phone setup with system software version below version 9.xx:

    Important: The “Force Headset” function must not be activated on the phone, as otherwise it will not be possible to accept external calls.

    Menu> Settings> Phone> Audio Jack>Force Headset OFF

    Menu> Settings> Phone> Socket > Activate Headset

     

    Ringtone transfer / phone setup:

    Important: The dial tone signal in the headset is only transmitted if one of the following ringtones is used, e.g., Standard/ Classic / Cold River / Dooing-Dooing. > Menu> Settings> Dial Tone > Internal / External

    Should the dial tone signal transfer not work although you have setup the correct ringtone, please check the following settings:

    Menu > Settings > Phone > Internal/External, more options

    No sound, Progressive, Beeps> all points must be set to "OFF".

    Calls being made via the headset can be connected / forwarded as follows:

    Dial the phone number > "Forward" will now appear in the phone display > now press on to the appropriate function key next to the phone display > thereafter you must end the call with the button marked "Handset"

  • How to connect my Jabra GN9350e with Alcatel Touch 4029, 4039

    Prerequisite :

    Jabra GN 9350 + Jabra LINK 14201-09

    In combination with one of the following phones:

    • IP Touch 4029
    • IP Touch 4039

    Connection:

    2-sided end:

    Insert the RJ45 plug into the socket marked with "AUX" and the RJ10 plug into the base socket of the Jabra GN9350 marked with the “phone” symbol.

    2-fold Y-coupling end:

    Insert the 3.5 mm audio jack into the headset interface and the RJ12 plug into the bell socket of the phone. Now insert the phone's phone cable directly into the additional connector socket of the Y cable.

    Software setup:

    In the LCD display, set the Jabra GN9350 to "MSH" and press the OK button.


    Base setup:

    Set the phone setup switch (A-G) to the "A" position.



    Microphone level setup:

    We recommend setting the microphone volume in the LCD display to 7 out of 12.

     

     

    Headset answer/end:

    As soon as the dial tone signal can be heard in the headset, you can answer the call by pressing the ”answer/end” button on the headset; by pressing again the call is ended.

     

    Phone setup:

    For system software version 9.xx and higher:

    No settings are required on the phone for the use of a headset. Following the correct adaptation of the audio jack, a headset symbol should appear in the “Phone display”. If the headset symbol does not appear, please check the following settings:

    Prerequisite:

    In combination with one of the following phones:

    • IP Touch 4028
    • IP Touch 4038
    • IP Touch 4068

    Connection:

    Connect the MSH connection cable to the base of the Jabra GN912x EHS as follows:

     

    2 modular plugs (RJ10+RJ45)

     

    2-sided end: Insert the RJ45 into the socket identified with "AUX" and the RJ10 into the socket identified with the “phone” symbol on the base.

    2-fold Y-coupling end: Insert the 3.5 mm phone jack into the headset interface and the RJ12 into the bell socket of the phone. The additional socket on the Y coupling remains free in the case of connection to an IP phone!

    Base setup:

    The adjustment controller on the base must be set to "A".

     

    EHS setup:

    The Jabra GN912x must support and be set up on MSH EHS.


    You can check or set it up as follows:

    1. Place the headset on the base.

    4. With the PLUS or MINUS buttons, you can now switch between the different EHS types
    5. To confirm the EHS has successfully installed, the phone automatically switches back to charge mode after approx. 10 seconds.

     

    Microphone level setup:

    1. Please call someone with the headset.
    2. You must now simultaneously press the PLUS and MINUS buttons on the headset which immediately produces a signal tone.

    3. You can now increase the microphone volume with PLUS or decrease the volume with MINUS.

    Connection:

    Connect the MSH connection cable to the base of the Jabra GN912x EHS as follows:

      Connection:

      2-sided end:

    • How to connect my Jabra GN9330e with Alcatel IP Touch 4028, 4038, 4068

      Prerequisite:

      Jabra GN9330e + Jabra LINK 14201-09

      In combination with one of the following phones:

      • IP Touch 4028
      • IP Touch 4038
      • IP Touch 4068

       

      Connection:

      Important: Please note that remote call control for the Jabra GN9330e (Jabra product no. 9337-508-401) is only supported from version "L" or the Date code 9/09.

      2-sided end:

      Plug the RJ45 plug into the socket marked "AUX" and the RJ10 plug into the Jabra GN9330e base socket marked with the “phone” symbol.

      2-fold Y-coupling end:

      Insert the 3.5 mm audio jack into the headset interface and the RJ12 plug into the bell socket of the phone. The extra connector socket on the Y-coupling remains free for connection to an IP phone!


       

      Software setup:

      Put the headset into the base and activate the “MSH” mode.

      Hold down the “phone” button on the base of the Jabra GN9330e for approx. 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash. The current software is displayed to you by activating the volume controller in the form of the charge display (green LED).

      LEDs from left to right:

      LED 1 = RHL
      LED 2 = DHSG
      LED 3 = AEI
      LED 4 = MSH

      Thereafter, you can switch into the different software modes (LED 1-4) with the “volume” controller on the headset. To confirm the software has successfully installed, the base automatically switches back to charge mode after approx. 15 seconds.

       

      Base setup:

      Set the phone setup switch (A-G) to "A".

       

      Microphone volume setup:

      Please call someone with the headset.

      If the other party cannot hear you well or just faintly, activate the volume controller at the base until you can be understood clearly.

       

      Headset answer/end:

      As soon as the dial tone signal can be heard in the headset, you can answer the call by pressing the answer/end” button on the headset; by pressing again the call is ended.

       

       

      Phone setup with system software 9.xx and higher:

      No settings are required on the phone for the use of a headset. Following the correct adaptation of the audio jack, a headset symbol should appear in the “phone display”. If the headset symbol does not appear, please check the following settings:

      Menu> Settings> Phone> Audio Jack> Select/ Activate Headset.

       

      Phone setup with system software version below version 9.xx:

      Important: The “Force Headset” function must not be activated on the phone, as otherwise it will not be possible to accept external calls.

      Menu> Settings> Phone> Audio Jack> Force Headset OFF

      Menu> Settings> Phone> Socket > Activate Headset

       

      Dial tone signal transfer/ phone setup:

      Important: The dial tone signal in the headset is only transmitted if one of the following ringtones is used, e.g., Standard / Classic / Cold River / Dooing-Dooing. > Menu> Settings> Dial Tone > Internal / External

      Should the dial tone signal transfer not work although you have setup the correct ringtone, please check the following settings:

      Menu > Settings > Phone > Internal/External, More Options

      No sound, Progressive, Beeps> all points must be set to "OFF".

      Calls being made via the headset can be connected / forwarded as follows:

      Dial the phone number > "Forward" will now appear in the phone display > now press on to the appropriate function key next to the phone display > thereafter you must end the call with the button marked "Handset".

    • How to connect my Jabra GN9330e with Alcatel Touch 4029, 4039

      Prerequisite:

      Jabra GN9330e + Jabra LINK 14201-09

      In combination with one of the following phones:

      • Touch 4029
      • Touch 4039

       

      Connection:

      Important: Please note that Remote Call Control for the Jabra GN9330e (Jabra product no. 9337-508-401) is only supported from version "L" or the Date code 9/09.

      2-sided end:

      Plug the RJ45 plug into the socket marked "AUX" and the RJ10 plug into the socket marked “phone” on the Jabra GN9330e.

      2-fold Y-coupling end:

      Insert the 3.5 mm audio jack into the “headset” interface and the RJ12 plug into the bell socket of the phone. Now insert the phone's phone cable directly into the additional connector socket of the Y cable.

       

      Software setup:

      Put the headset into the base and activate the “MSH” mode.

      Hold down the “phone” button on the base of the Jabra GN9330e for approx. 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash. The current software is displayed to you by activating the volume controller in the form of the charge display (green LED).

      Prerequisite :

      Jabra GN9350 + Jabra LINK 14201-09

      In combination with one of the following phones:

      •  IP Touch 4028
      •  IP Touch 4038
      •  IP Touch 4068

       

      Connection:

      2-sided end:

      Insert the RJ45 plug into the socket marked "AUX" and the RJ10 plug into the base socket of the Jabra GN9350 marked “phone”.

      2-fold Y-coupling end:

      Insert the 3.5 mm audio jack into the headset interface and the RJ12 plug into the bell socket of the phone. The extra connector socket on the Y-coupling remains free for the connection to an IP phone!

      In the LCD display, set the Jabra GN9350 to "MSH" and press the OK button.
