  • How to connect my Jabra PRO 92x with Aastra Open Phone 6771, 6773, 6775,71,73, 75, Aastra 6739i, Aastra 7434 and 7444

    Prerequisite:

    Jabra PRO 92x + Jabra LINK 14201-10

    In combination with one of the following phones:

    • Open Phone 6771 / 6773 / 6775 including IP (previous name: Open Phone 71/73/75 including IP)
    • Aastra 6739i
    • Aastra 7434 / 7444 IP

    Connection:

    1. Plug the 1-sided end of the DHSG cable marked blue into the socket of the phone marked with a “headset” symbol.
    2. Plug the other end of the cable into the sockets marked with a “phone” and "AUX".

    Now you can setup the headset for your phone with the automatic or manual configuration.

     

    Automatic configuration:

    To start the automatic configuration, please let someone call you on this phone; wait at least 10 seconds before you pick up the phone. Now the appropriate EHS mode should be set up.

    If the automatic configuration does not work, please select the DHSG mode manually. 

     

    Base setup :

    Set the phone setup switch to position "A".

     

    Microphone volume setting:

    Put on the headset and call a colleague, for example. Now you can select the desired microphone volume using the +/- button.

    Prerequisite:

    Jabra PRO 92x + Jabra LINK 14201-10 + Aastra DHSG Cable Kit (only available from Aastra)

    In combination with one of the following phones:

    • Aastra 53i / 55i / 57i / 57iCT
    • Aastra 6753i / 6755i / 6757i / 6757i CT

    from phone firmware 2.5.1.2000 and higher

    Connection:

    Aastra DHSG cable:

    Insert the split end of the Aastra DHSG cable into your headset as follows.

     

    1. Insert the RJ10 plug (marked green) into the “headset” socket and the RJ45 plug (marked yellow) into the socket for the expansion module/ expansion modules.
    2. Plug the 1-sided end of the Aastra DHSG cable marked in blue into the RJ45 adapter.

    GN Netcom DHSG cable:


    1. Now plug the 1-sided end of the GN Netcom DHSG-cable marked in blue into the RJ45 free socket of the RJ45 adapter.
    2. Connect the split end of the DHSG cable with the Jabra PRO 92x base as follows. Plug the RJ10 plug into the socket marked with a complete “phone” symbol and the RJ45 plug into the base socket of the Jabra PRO 92x marked with "AUX".

    Now you can setup the headset for your phone with the automatic or manual configuration.

     

    Automatic configuration:

    To start the automatic configuration, please let someone call you on this phone; wait at least 10 seconds before you pick up the phone. Now the appropriate EHS mode should be set up.

    Options> Preferences> Audio Settings> Audio Mode> Heads. / Speaker.

    Remote call control in combination with an expansion keypad is not supported.

    • How to connect my Jabra GN9330e with Siemens OpenStage 30, 40, 60, 80

      Prerequisite:

      Jabra GN9330e + Jabra LINK 14201-10

      In combination with one of the following phones:

      Important:

      Please note that Remote Call Control is only supported by the Jabra GN9330e from version "L" or from date code 9/09.

      Connection:

      1. Plug the 1-sided end of the DHSG cable marked blue into the socket marked with a “ headset” symbol on your phone.
      2.  Plug the RJ10 plug into the socket with the “phone” symbol and the RJ45 plug into the socket on the Jabra GN9330e base marked with "AUX".


      EHS setup:

      1. Place the headset on the base and activate “ DHSG” mode.
      2. Hold down the “phone” button on the base of the Jabra GN9330e for approx. 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash. The current EHS is displayed to you by activating the speaker controller in the form of the charge display (green LED).


      LEDs from left to right:

      LED 1 = RHL
      LED 2 = DHSG
      LED 3 = AEI
      LED 4 = MSH

      Thereafter, you can switch into the different EHS modes (LED 1-4) with the “ volume” controller on the headset. To confirm the EHS has successfully installed, the base automatically switches back to charge mode after approx. 15 seconds.

      Base setup:

      Set the phone set-up switch (A-G) to " A".




      Answer/end calls on the headset:

      Once the dial tone signal can be heard in the headset, you can answer the call by pressing the " Answer/end" button on the headset, while pressing it again will end the call.




      Phone setup:

      Important: For equipment EHS 3.18, the headset operation must be set up additionally at the phone.

      OpenStage 40: Menu > Audio accessories > Headset > Cordless

      OpenStage 60/80: Menu > User > Audio > Settings > Headset > Cordless

      Software setup:

      Put the headset into the base and activate the “DHSG” mode.

      Hold down the “phone” button on the base of the Jabra GN9330e for approx. 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash. The current software is displayed to you by activating the volume controller in the form of the charge display (green LED).

      Software setup:

      Aastra DHSG cable:

       


      1. Insert the split end of the Aastra DHSG cable into your phone as follows. The RJ10 plug (marked green) into the “headset” socket and the RJ45 plug (marked yellow) into the socket for the expansion module/ expansion modules.

      2. Plug the 1-sided end of the Aastra DHSG cable marked in blue into the RJ45 adapter.

       

      GN Netcom DHSG cable:


      1. Now plug the 1-sided of the GN Netcom DHSG cable marked in blue into the free socket of the RJ45 adapter.
      2. Plug the RJ10 plug into the socket marked with a “phone” symbol and the RJ45 plug into the base socket of the Jabra GN9330e marked with "AUX".

       

      Software setup:

      Put the headset into the base and activate the “DHSG” mode.

      Hold down the “phone” button on the base of the Jabra GN9330e for approx. 6 seconds until the online display (blue LED) on the headset starts to flash. The current software is displayed to you by activating the volume controller in the form of the charge display (green LED).

      LEDs from left to right:

      LED 1 = RHL

    • How to connect my Jabra PRO 9400 / GO 6470 with Siemens Opti Point 410, 420, 500, 600

      Prerequisite:

      Jabra PRO 9460 / Jabra PRO 9470 + Jabra LINK 14201-10 + Acoustic Adapter

      In combination with one of the following phones: 

      • Opti Point 410 standard / advance
      • Opti Point 420 standard / advance
      • Opti Point 500 basic / standard / advance
      • Opti Point 600

      + Opti Point Acoustic Adapter:

      • min. Version number for: S30817-K7110-B508 -10
      • min. Version number for: S30817-K7110-N508 -1

      + HiPath phone system:

      • HiPath 500 from V.5
      • HiPath 1220 from V2.1 Build 032
      • HiPath 2000 from V1.0
      • HiPath 3000 from V3 SMR 14
      • HiPath 3000 from V4 SMR 7
      • HiPath 4000 from V1

      Important: If any of the components are missing the Remote Call Control will not work.

      Connection:

      1. Plug the 1-sided end of the DHSG cable marked in blue into the socket of the OptiPoint Acoustic Adapter marked with the "headset" symbol.
      2. Connect the split end of the DHSG cable with the Jabra PRO 9400 base as follows. Plug the RJ10 plug into the socket marked with a “phone” symbol and the RJ45 plug into the base socket marked with "AUX".

      Then follow the instructions of the Jabra PRO 9400 base SmartSetup Wizard.

          

      Select phone settings, "Desk phone", then "Connect to a desk phone?”, "Manual".

       

      Select adapter type "Siemens OptiPoint"

       

      Base setup:


      Set the phone setup switch to position "A".

       

      Microphone volume setting:

       

      We recommend setting the microphone volume to 6 out of 13.

       

      Guided set-up:

      As part of the installation you can dial into the local Jabra Setup server that takes care of configuring the audio path. Please follow the instructions shown on the display. If your Jabra Setup Server is unavailable, please contact your local Jabra Support team.

       

      Phone setup:

      Important: As soon as the headset is connected and set up, a reset must be performed on the OptiPoint, for the EHS function to activate.

      An optional headset button can be installed in the phone menu (combination: *91>select button > change button > headset > OK). ​​
