      The Jabra GN1000 remote handset lifter manually lifts the handset of the desk phone to make or answer a call. For instructions on how to mount the device, refer to the product documentation supplied with the Jabra GN1000. 1. On the desk phone, unplug the handset cable from the phone body. 2. Connect the handset cable to the port marked with a handset on the base. 3. Plug the supplied telephone cable into the port marked with a blue telephone on the base. 4. Connect the telephone cable to the handset port on the desk phone. 5. Connect the Jabra GN1000 cable to the port marked with a red AUX port on the base.

  • How do I use the conference mode on my Jabra PRO 9450?

    Prerequisite:

    For conference mode, you need a complete Jabra PRO 9450 and at least one additional headset. You can have up to four headsets per base in conference mode.

     

    Conference mode:

    Remove the headset from the base, and set up a call.

    This headset is now the "master headset” and controls the conference.

    During the call, insert the second headset into the base of the master headset. The pairing takes a few seconds. While the headset is pairing, the connection symbol "~" flashes yellow.

     

    You now hear a signal tone in the master headset. Press the "answer/end” button once on the master headset to start the conference.

    Repeat the process for each headset joining the conference.

    Anyone can leave the conference by pressing the “answer/end” button once. The master headset can end the complete conference by pressing the “answer/end” button.

    For a permanent conference or coaching function (also in EHS and USB modes), you must install “Jabra PC Suite” on your computer, if you have not already done so and open “Jabra Control Center”. In “Jabra Control Center” uncheck the box titled “End headset conference when call ends”

    To change the battery you need the Jabra PRO 9400 battery change kit, which includes a battery and a small screwdriver.

    1. Remove the headband from your headset.

  • How do I recover my Jabra PRO 9400 or Jabra GO 6400 after a failed firmware update?

    ​If a firmware update is interrupted the firmware update will fail and the touch screen goes blank
    (plain white). The Jabra PRO 9450 will also light up white. The product can be recovered by following this procedure:

    1. Go to www.jabra.com/support and find the support product page for the product being used:


    2. Download the relevant firmware for the product used, to the desktop or somewhere else you can locate it afterwards:


    3. Once the firmware has been saved to the PC, open the Jabra Firmware updater and and uncheck the box "check for firmware updates on Jabra web server":


    4. Press "Browse" to find the file that has been saved to the PC:


    5. Select your local region from the dropdown menu:


    6. Click "Next":


    7. The device will now start updating
      Important: Remember not to interrupt the firmware update.

    8. To ensure the firmware update is successful we recommend that you do not use the computer at all.
      The update takes less than 5 minutes.

    9. After the firmware update has been successfully completed the headset base will reboot itself and
      be ready for use

    Prerequisites

    The ringtone signal can be disabled using Jabra Direct.

    Please follow these steps:

  • Do the Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 series support Mac?

    ​Although Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 do not officially support Mac, both products have been tested on Mac Book, OS 10.4.1. USB audio, TX/RX works fine, i.e. via Skype.

    The great thing is the auto-audio-link, so although you do not have EHS on Skype with a Mac, the audio link opens automatically when Skype call is initiated. As always on Mac, you manually have to change audio setting before the audio is handled correctly.

    • I experience a buzzing sound in my Jabra PRO 9400.

      ​If the headset has been set up correctly, your phone may not be fully immune to the radio signals the headset uses. To remedy this issue, move the headset base at least 30 cm away from the phone. Alternatively, you can reduce the range of your headset by adjusting the settings on the touch screen.

      It is possible to put a call on hold by using the base keypads.

      1. When in a call double tap the active phone button that will be green on the base keypad.

      2. The active phone button will turn orange and the call is on hold.

      3. To resume the call, simply tap the active phone button once.

      4. The active phone once again turns green and you can continue your call.

    • The sound quality in my headset is poor and/or the other end cannot hear me while using my Jabra PRO 9450 with my desk phone.

      The clear dial-tone switch and/or microphone volume on your Jabra PRO 9450 base may be set incorrectly. You can start by adjusting the dial tone switch or by adjusting the microphone level.

      First ensure the microphone is positioned close enough to the mouth to maximize noise-cancelling and speech quality. approx. 1 inch from the mouth if you are using a flex boom arm.

      |Adjust dial tone switch

      1. First remove the front panel on the Jabra PRO 9450 base.


      2. Call a friend or a colleague and start a conversation.

      3. Once on the call, adjust the dial tone slowly switching from A to G.
      Select the setting that that gives you the clearest conversation. See some switch examples below, in most cases this will fit, but note there can be some exceptions.



      Switch A: Avaya and most modern IP and digital phones.
      Switch B: Cisco and Avaya Callmaster 5&6.
      Switch C: Kirk Delta.
      Switch D: Tenovis phones.
      Switch E: Innovaphone.
      Switch F: Different phone brands.
      Switch G: Toshiba most models and almost all Dealerboards (IPC & BT for example).

      4. Put the front panel back on unless you need to adjust the microphone level.

      |Adjust the microphone volume

    • Why does the Remote Call Control feature not work although there is audio?

      1. Make sure the firmware for the headset meets the following version requirements.

      • Jabra Pro 9400 Series: version 3.11.2 or later
      • Jabra Motion Office series: version 1.17 or later
      • Jabra Pro 925 series: version 1.4.0 or later
      • Jabra Pro 920: version 2.5.4 or later

      2. Make sure the firmware for the Cisco desk phone meets the following requirements.

      • SCCP (Signalling Connection Control Part) 9-4-1 or later
      • SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) 9-4-1 or later

      3. Make sure the EHS feature is activated on the Cisco phone on the Preferences menu as shown in the following screenshot.

      Note: The EHS setup is done on the phone itself, and nothing is done on the Cisco CallManager (CUCM).

      ​No, you can only pair the headset with a Jabra PRO™ 9400 base (it is not Generic Access Profile (GAP) compliant). This is because Jabra PRO™ 9400 uses an enhanced version of the DECT standard, thereby enabling many of its advanced call-handling features. These enhancements are not supported by third-party manufacturers.

      • HSKEY=NORMAL
      This applies for firmware versions V3R8R0.18.0 (dated 17-SEP-2014) and V2R0.51.0 dated (30-DEC-2010) or higher, for the Unify products afflicted.

      4. The headset docking icon(#2) flashes green and battery icon(#1) turns off
      5. When the new headset is paired as master headset, the headset docking icon(#2) turns into solid green and battery icon(#1) lights up again

    • How do I use the conference mode on my Jabra PRO 9450?

      Prerequisite:

      For conference mode, you need a complete Jabra PRO 9450 and at least one additional headset. You can have up to four headsets per base in conference mode.

       

      Conference mode:

      Remove the headset from the base, and set up a call.

      This headset is now the "master headset” and controls the conference.

      During the call, insert the second headset into the base of the master headset. The pairing takes a few seconds. While the headset is pairing, the connection symbol "~" flashes yellow.

       

      You now hear a signal tone in the master headset. Press the "answer/end” button once on the master headset to start the conference.

      Repeat the process for each headset joining the conference.

      Anyone can leave the conference by pressing the “answer/end” button once. The master headset can end the complete conference by pressing the “answer/end” button.

      For a permanent conference or coaching function (also in EHS and USB modes), you must install “Jabra PC Suite” on your computer, if you have not already done so and open “Jabra Control Center”. In “Jabra Control Center” uncheck the box titled “End headset conference when call ends”

      ​If a firmware update is interrupted the firmware update will fail and the touch screen goes blank
      (plain white). The Jabra PRO 9450 will also light up white. The product can be recovered by following this procedure:

      1. Go to www.jabra.com/support and find the support product page for the product being used:


      2. Download the relevant firmware for the product used, to the desktop or somewhere else you can locate it afterwards:


      3. Once the firmware has been saved to the PC, open the Jabra Firmware updater and and uncheck the box "check for firmware updates on Jabra web server":


      4. Press "Browse" to find the file that has been saved to the PC:


      5. Select your local region from the dropdown menu:


      6. Click "Next":


      7. The device will now start updating
        Important: Remember not to interrupt the firmware update.

      8. To ensure the firmware update is successful we recommend that you do not use the computer at all.
        The update takes less than 5 minutes.

      9. After the firmware update has been successfully completed the headset base will reboot itself and
        be ready for use

      Connection:

      2. Now insert the 8-pin RJ45 plug of the Jabra 8800-00-93 connection cable in the "AUX" socket on the Jabra PRO 94x0 base.
      3. Please connect the hollow socket connector to the socket on the AZ adapter marked with the “ bell” symbol and the 6-pin modular plug in the "second headset" socket of the AZ adapter.

      You now have the option of setting up the headset on your phone via the automatic or manual configuration.

       

      Automatic configuration:

      To start the automatic configuration, have someone call you on this phone and wait at least 10 seconds before taking the call. The appropriate EHS mode should now be installed.

      If the automatic configuration has not worked, please select RHL mode manually.

       

      Base setup:

      Connection:

      1. Insert the RJ10 to RJ10 connection cable supplied with the Jabra PRO 94x0 into the socket marked with the "phone" on your Jabra PRO 94x0 base and the other end into the socket marked with a “phone” on the EHS adapter
      2. Now connect the end of the RJ45 to RJ45 connection cable (EHS adapter) marked in “red” to the socket marked with "AUX" on the EHS adapter to the "AUX" socket on your Jabra PRO 94x0 base.
      3. With the cable marked white D, connect the Headset / Handset socket on your Jabra LINK EHS Adapter to the 3.5 mm headset socket on the side of your desk phone.
      4. Now connect the orange RJ12 to RJ12 connection cable marked "A" to the socket of the EHS adapter identified with "COM" as well as with the "bell" socket on your phone.

      Please be aware that the phone will not be fully functional until the colored markings for all cables have been connected to the EHS adapter. See photo.

      You now have the option of setting up the headset on your phone via the automatic or manual configuration.

       

      Automatic configuration:

      To start the automatic configuration, have someone call this phone and wait at least 10 seconds before taking the call. The appropriate EHS mode should now be installed.

      If the automatic configuration has not worked, please select DHSG mode manually.

       

      Base setup:

      Voip phones SCCP (Cisco protocol) require the phone firmware 8.3(3) and the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) from release 3.3, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0.

      SIP phones require the phone firmware 8.3(3) and the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) from release 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0.

       

      Connection:

      1. Insert the RJ10 to RJ10 connection cable supplied with the PRO 94x0 into the "headset interface" on your Cisco phone and the other end into the socket marked with a “phone” symbol on the 94x0 base
      2. Connect the EHS adapter with the "AUX" socket on your Cisco phone and the "AUX" interface on your base.  

       

      Automatic configuration:

      To start the automatic configuration, have someone call this phone and wait at least 10 seconds before taking the call. The appropriate EHS mode should now be installed.

      If the manual configuration has not worked, please select the Cisco mode manually.

       

      Base setup:

      Set the phone set-up switch to position "B".

        

       

      Microphone level setup:

      Remove the cover from the base of the Jabra PRO 9450 and make a call with the headset, to a colleague for example. If you are too loud or too quiet to the person you are calling, please use the volume adjuster until you achieve the optimum volume level.

       

       

      Communication Manager setup:

      Under "Phone", the call Answer/end "Wireless Headset Hookswitch Control" must be enabled for each terminal.

      Connection:

      1. Connect the 1-sided end (USB plug) of the EHS adapter to the USB socket on your phone.
      2. Insert the RJ10 plug into the socket marked with a “phone” symbol and the RJ45 plug into the socket marked with "AUX" on the base.

      You now have the option of setting up the headset on your phone via the automatic or manual configuration.

       

      Automatic configuration:

      To start the automatic configuration, have someone call this phone and wait at least 10 seconds before taking the call. The appropriate EHS mode should now be installed.

      If the automatic configuration has not worked, please select IQ mode manually.

      4. Connect the dial tone sensor to the EHS adapter, and attach this in the middle on the phone speaker.

      Prerequisites

      Jabra Direct will try and set the default softphone automatically.
      To change to Microsoft Lync 2013 manually, please follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. Click on Settings.



      3. Scroll down and expand the Softphone (PC) button.
      4. In Preferred softphone dropdown menu, choose Microsoft Lync and click Apply.


      5. Startup Microsoft Lync 2013.
      6. Select Options.



      7. Under Audio device, select your Jabra device from the dropdown menu.



      8. To test the Speaker or Ringer audio, click the green play buttons.
      9. When done, click OK.
      10. Jabra Direct should state the Jabra device and Microsoft Lync is ready for use.


      Note: Make sure your softphone is active and logged in for Jabra Direct to show it is ready. See a full list of compatible softphone on www.jabra.com/direct.

    • How to connect and use my Jabra PRO 9450 with Microsoft Lync for Windows

      | Connection and configuration

      1.    Connect the AC power cord to the headset base and to a working power outlet.
      2.    Dock the headset to the base for charging.
      3.    Connect the provided USB cable to the headset base and directly into the laptop or desktop computer.
      4.    Wait for Windows to install the driver for the headset.
      5.    Start up Lync.
      6.    In the Lync main window, click Tools and choose Audio Device Settings.
      7.    Select the Tools option.
      8.    Select Audio Device Settings.



      9.    Under Audio device, select the Jabra PRO 9450 from the drop down menu.



      10.    To test audio, click on the green play icons and/or Check Call Quality to place a test call.
      11.    When you have finished, click OK.

      Important: If your program-related sounds continue to come through the headset and you prefer them to come from your speakers, please take the following steps:

      1.    Go to Windows Control Panel.
      2.    Select Hardware and Sound.
      3.    Click Sounds to display the list of playback devices.
      4.    Select Speakers from the list and set as the default.
      5.    Now your speakers will provide audio for program-related sounds.

      | Usage

      Receiving a call

      You will see a call notification pop-up on your computer screen when you have an incoming call.

      Option 1: Press the Answer button on the headset base to answer the call.



      Option 2: Press the Answer button on the headset to answer the call.



      Option 3: Click Accept on the call notification pop-up on your screen.

      Option 4: If you are unavailable, you can click Redirect or choose to reply with an instant message.

      Adjust audio:

      To increase or decrease the listening volume, slide your finger up or down the Volume sensor.

    • How do I update the firmware on my Jabra Device?

      Prerequisites

      To check for firmware and update your Jabra Device you need to have Jabra Direct installed.

      For some Jabra Link EHS adapters you need a micro USB cable to connect the adapter to the PC.

      Please follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. If a firmware update is available for your Jabra device this will be indicated on the main screen.



      3. To update or to manually check for new firmware click on the Firmware Updater icon.

       

      4. The Jabra Direct Firmware Updater will open in a new window.
      5. Select your device and click on the Next button.



      Note: To update devices like e.g. Jabra Motion or Jabra Stealth they need to be connected directly to the PC with a USB cable.

      6. Click on the Download button and when the download is done click on the Next button.

       

      7. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not unplug your device while preforming a firmware update.

      Note: If using a Jabra USB dongle with your device e.g. Jabra Motion UC or Jabra Stealth UC it is recommended to update both the headset and dongle at the same time. The PC must be connected to the internet to download the latest firmware.

      On certain firmware versions of the Avaya 9608 headset signaling is not per default enabled.
      To enable this feature on your Avaya phone follow the steps below.

      1. Press the Home button.



      2. Navigate to “Option & Settings” press Select or OK.
      3. Navigate to “Call settings” press Select or OK.
      4. Navigate “Headset Signaling” press Change or OK to set the option to Yes or No, depending on the current setting. (The option given here may vary depending on the firmware installed on the phone).

    • Why is my MS Lync optimized not the default headset in Windows?

      Although your product is optimized for MS Lync, it is not able to make your Jabra device the default audio device in Windows automatically.

      Check your audio settings in Windows.

      Windows XP SP3:


      1. Click on the Start Button.

      2. Click on Control Panel.

      3. Click on Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices (This applies if sorted by category, if sorted by classic view, Click on Sounds and Audio Devices and go to step 5.

      4. Click on Sounds and Audio Device.

      5. If the Jabra device is not chosen as default device, on the voice tab, choose it in both Voice playback and Voice recording then click on Apply and OK.

       Windows 7:

      1. Click on the Start Button.

      2. Click on Control Panel.

      3. Click on Hardware and Sound (This applies if sorted by category, if sorted by icons, Click on Sound and go to step 5).

      4. Click on Sound.

      5. If the Jabra device is not chosen as default device, on the playback tab, choose it and click on Set Default.


      6. Do the following on the Recording tab.

      7. Click Apply and OK.


      Windows 8:

      1. On the home screen, type “sound” and click/tap on Settings.

      2. Click on sound.
      3. If the Jabra device is not chosen as default device, on the playback tab, choose it and click on Set Default.

      4. Do the following on the Recording tab.

      5. Click Apply and OK.

    • How do I setup my Jabra Device to work with IBM Sametime for Windows?

      Prerequisites

      Jabra Direct will try and set the default softphone automatically.
      To change to IBM Sametime manually, please follow these steps:

      1. IBM Sametime must be closed before installing Jabra Direct.
      2. Install Jabra Direct.
      3. Open Jabra Direct.
      4. Click on Settings.



      5. Scroll down and expand the Softphone (PC) button.
      6. In Preferred softphone dropdown menu, choose IBM Sametime and click Apply.



      7. Startup IBM Sametime.
      8. Select File and choose Preferences.



      9. Select the Voice and Video option.
      10. For each of the three audio settings (Microphone, Speakers and Ringing), select your desired Jabra Device from the dropdown menu.



      11. When done, click Apply, then OK.
      12. Jabra Direct should state the Jabra device and IBM Sametime is ready for use.



      Note: Make sure your softphone is active and logged in for Jabra Direct to show it is ready. See a full list of compatible softphone on www.jabra.com/direct.

      Prerequisites

      Jabra Direct will try and set the default softphone automatically.
      To change to Skype manually, please follow these steps:

      1. Skype must be closed before installing Jabra Direct.
      2. Install Jabra Direct.
      3. Open Jabra Direct.
      4. Click on Settings.

       

      5. Scroll down and expand the Softphone (PC) button.
      6. In Preferred softphone dropdown menu, choose Skype and click Apply.

       

      7. Startup Skype.
      8. Select Tools and choose Options.



      9. Under General, select the Audio settings option.
      10. For each of the three settings (Microphone, Speakers and Ringing), select the desired Jabra device from the dropdown menu.



      11. When done, click Save.
      12. Jabra Direct should state the Jabra device and Skype is ready for use.

      Prerequisites

      Jabra Direct will try and set the default softphone automatically.
      To change to Cisco IP Communicator manually, please follow these steps:

      1. Cisco IP Communicator must be closed before installing Jabra Direct.
      2. Install Jabra Direct.
      3. Open Jabra Direct.
      4. Click on Settings.



      5. Scroll down and expand the Softphone (PC) button.
      6. In Preferred softphone dropdown menu, choose Cisco IP Communicator and click Apply.



      7. Startup Cisco IP Communicator.
      8. Select the Menu button and choose Audio Tuning Wizard.





      9. To start the wizard, click Next.



      10. For each of the four audio settings (Headset, Speakerphone, Handset and Ringer), select the desired Jabra device from the dropdown menu.



      11. To test the listening volume, click Play.



      12. To test the microphone volume, click Test.



      13. When done, click Finish.



      14. Jabra Direct should state the Jabra device and Cisco IP Communicator is ready for use.

      Prerequisites

      Before setting a preferred softphone in Jabra Direct make sure it is supported by Jabra Direct.

      Please follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. Click on Settings.

       

      3. Scroll down and expand the Softphone (PC) button.
      4. In Preferred softphone, choose your preferred softphone.



      5. Click Apply.

      Note: If using a Jabra PRO 9470, Jabra PRO 9465, Jabra PRO 9460, Jabra GO 6470, Jabra Dial 550 or Jabra Motion Office the preferred softphone selected in Jabra Direct will overrule the selected softphone on the device itself.

    • How do I set up the Jabra Link 14201-41 with the Cisco desk phone?

      Before installing, make sure that the firmware for the Cisco desk phone meets the following requirements.

      • SCCP (Signalling Connection Control Part) 9-4-1 or later
      • SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) 9-4-1 or later

      The firmware for the headset should meet the following versions.

      • Jabra Pro 9400 Series: version 3.11.2 or later
      • Jabra Motion Office series: version 1.17 or later
      • Jabra Pro 925 series: version 1.4.0 or later
      • Jabra Pro 920: version 2.5.4 or later

      1. Connect the cables as illustrated below.

      2. Set up the Jabra headset.

      a. For Jabra Motion Office, Jabra Pro 9460, 9465, and 9470, using the touch screen of the Jabra headset, go to the phone settings of the desk phone menu to start the setup wizard. If you choose the manual setup, under Select Adapter, select “IQ” and set the Dial Tone switch to “A”.
      b. For Jabra Pro 920, 925, and 9450, in the advanced settings for the headset base, set the dial tone to “A” and set the adapter to “IQ”.

      3. Set up the Cisco phone.

      •    Enable the EHS feature directly on the Cisco phone using the Preferences menu.

    • Why is there no audio in the Jabra wireless headset?

      Make sure that the Jabra Link 14201-41 is plugged correctly to the Jabra headset and the Cisco desk phone. Also, make sure that the headset is correctly set up: the adapter is set to “IQ” and the dial tone is set to “A”.

    • How does the Intellitone setting work on my headset?

      How are the 0-4 hours defined? Does it average out the sound or does it just stop the peaks at certain levels?

      According to the EC standards the SPL (Sound Pressure Level) during a full working day (8h) should be less than 85 dBA. For the Jabra PRO and GO products  this realized by having an Auto Volume algorithm running in IntelliTone Level 1-3 (4). In Level 3 the SPL is set such that it will not exceed 85 dBA.

      Depending on your volume setting the Auto Volume function will regulate the received Audio (a.k.a. RX) so that the long term average speech energy is constant. At highest volume step, this target level will be approx. 85 dBA. For Level 1 and 2 where a lower amount of hours can be specified the target level is adjusted according to how much the user is exposed during this period. For example to fulfill the 85 dBA over a 8 hours working day corresponds to 3 dB higher level over a 4 hours duration. In this case the SPL can be set higher for setting 1 (0-4 hours) and Level 2 (4-8 hours) and still comply with the 85 dBA requirement.

    • Why is it important to update headset firmware?

      Prerequisites

      Firmware updates usually improve performance and sometimes add new functionality to your device.
      For some Jabra Link EHS adapters you need a micro USB cable to connect the adapter to the PC.

      To check for new firmware, please follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. If a firmware update is available for your Jabra device, this will be indicated on the main screen.



      3. To update or to manually check for new firmware click on the Firmware Updater icon.



      4. The Jabra Direct Firmware Updater will open in a new window.
      5. Select your device and click on the Next button.



      Note: To update devices like e.g. Jabra Motion or Jabra Stealth they need to be connected directly to the PC with a USB cable.

      6. Click on the Download button, and when the download is done click on the Next button.



      7. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not unplug your device while preforming a firmware update.

      Note: If using a Jabra USB dongle with your device e.g. Jabra Motion UC or Jabra Stealth UC it is recommended to update both the headset and dongle at the same time. The PC must be connected to the internet to download the latest firmware.

    • Rechargeable battery best practice

      This is the best practice for rechargeable batteries in general and is not related specifically to Jabra headsets, but to the technology itself. Below are examples of how to preserve and store a rechargeable battery to help ensure a long battery life. 

      • Avoid placement in direct sunlight
      • Avoid placement in extreme cold
      • Batteries should not be stored for extended periods without being recharged, we recommend to charge it every 3 months for most products
      • In daily use, it is best to return the headset to the charging base when not in use
      • HD Voice/Wideband consumes slightly more battery than Narrowband
      • Always return headset to charging base overnight

      If you handle or store your rechargeable battery incorrectly, its lifetime may be reduced.

      ​No, the Jabra PRO 9470 Bluetooth port uses adaptive frequency hopping, thereby avoiding channels that are blocked by Wi-Fi. To ensure good sound quality only the free channels are used.

    • What is the range on my Jabra PRO 9400?

      The Jabra PRO 9400 supports a maximum range of up to 150m* (base to headset). In practice, you may find the range to be somewhat shorter due to physical obstructions and electromagnetic interference.

      The sound in your headset will slowly deteriorate as you move farther from the base. Move back into range and sound quality is restored. If you move all the way out of range while talking, you will lose all sound, but your call will be held open at the base for 60 seconds. This gives you the chance to move back in range; however, after 60 seconds the current call will be terminated.

      If you remain out of range for a longer time, you may need to re-establish the DECT connection manually when you return (i.e. dock the headset to the base).

    • What is the talk time of my Jabra PRO 9400 headset?

      For the Jabra PRO 9460, Jabra PRO 9460 Duo and Jabra PRO 9465 Duo the talk time is up to 7 hours in wideband talk mode and up to 10 hours in narrowband talk mode. For the Jabra PRO 9470 the talk time is up to 7 hours for wideband talk mode and up to 9 hours for narrowband talk mode.
      For the Jabra PRO 9450 and Jabra PRO 9450 Duo the talk time is up to 8 hours in wideband talk mode and up to 11 hours in narrowband talk mode.
