      In this section we show you how to connect to a PC with Jabra Link 360.

      3. The connection is established when the light turns solid blue.

    If your Jabra Speak 510 has a previous pairing, remember to turn off Bluetooth on the previously paired device before you proceed.

    To pair your Jabra Speak 510 with your Jabra Link 360, follow these steps:

    1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.



    2. Turn on Bluetooth on your computer. It can take up to one minute for your Jabra Speak 510 and Jabra Link 360 to pair.




    To pair your Jabra Speak 510 with your mobile phone, follow these steps:

    1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.



    2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone, and then select Jabra Speak 510. Enter "0000" (four zeros) if you are asked for a PIN code.




    To pair your Jabra Speak 510 with a Bluetooth headset, follow these steps:

  • How do I pair my Jabra Speak 510 with two Bluetooth devices at the same time?

    Prerequisites

    • Firmware version 2.7.0 or later

    Your Jabra Speak 510 supports multiple call handling from two paired devices. The device that is paired last is the primary device, from which you can use *voice dialing. The *redial feature works with the device from which you made the last outgoing call.

    *If this feature is supported by the device

    To pair with two Bluetooth devices, follow these steps:

    1. Turn on Bluetooth on the device.
    2. Turn on your Jabra Speak 510.
    3. Press and hold (2 seconds) the Bluetooth button.



    4. Follow the Bluetooth pairing instructions for the device. Enter “0000” (four zeros) if you are asked for a pin code.
    5. To pair with the second device, repeat steps 1 through 4 above.

    When the devices have been paired, your Jabra Speak 510 will try to connect with the primary device first. This may take up to one minute. If the connection fails, you can connect from the Bluetooth menu on the device.

      Prerequisites

      Jabra Direct will try to set the default softphone automatically. To manually change the softphone to Microsoft Skype for Business, follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. Click Settings.



      3. Scroll down and expand Softphone (PC).
      4. In Preferred softphone, select Microsoft Skype for Business, and then click Apply.



      5. Start Microsoft Skype for Business.
      6. Select Options.

      8. In Audio device, select your Jabra device.



      9. To test the audio for the Speaker or Ringer, click the green play icons, and then click OK.
      10. Jabra Direct will state that the Jabra device and Microsoft Skype for Business are ready to use.



      Note: Make sure your softphone is active and logged in, so it is available in Jabra Direct. See a full list of compatible softphones on www.jabra.com/direct.

      To support the maximum specified range between the adapter and headset, set the wireless range to "Normal". However, if there are too many wireless devices that are interfering with one another, then set the range to "Low" or "Very low". To change the settings in Jabra Direct, follow these steps:

      2. Click Settings.



      3. Scroll down to Wireless range and select the appropriate setting.



      4. Click Apply.

    • How do I update the firmware on my Jabra device?

      Prerequisites

      To check for firmware and update your Jabra device, you must have Jabra Direct installed on your PC. To update devices such as Jabra Motion or Jabra Stealth, they must be connected directly to the PC using a USB cable. For some Jabra Link EHS adapters, you may need a micro USB cable to connect the adapter to the PC. Follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. If a firmware update is available for your Jabra device, this is indicated on the main screen.



      3. To update the firmware or manually check for new firmware, click the Firmware Updater icon.

      4.  

      5. The Jabra Direct Firmware Updater opens in a new window.
      6. Select your Jabra device, and then click Next.



      7. Click Download. When the download is finished, click Next.



      8. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not unplug your device while a firmware update is in progress.

      Prerequisites

      Firmware updates usually improve the performance of your Jabra device, and sometimes they add new functionality.

      Note: To update some devices such as Jabra Link EHS adapters, Jabra Motion, or Jabra Stealth, they need to be connected directly to your PC by using a micro USB or USB cable.

      To check for new firmware, follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Direct.
      2. If a firmware update is available for your Jabra device, this is indicated on the main screen.



      3. To update the firmware, or to manually check for new firmware, click the Firmware Updater icon.



      4. The Jabra Direct Firmware Updater opens in a separate window.
      5. Select your Jabra device, and then click Next.



      6. Click Download, and when the download is finished, click Next.



      7. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not unplug your device while the firmware update is in progress.

    • What is the difference between the standard UC models and the models that are certified for Microsoft Skype for Business?

      ​The models that are certified for Microsoft Skype for Business (Lync), support Microsoft Skype for Business in Plug and Play mode. These models support features to answer and end calls, adjust volume, and mute.

      If you are not using Microsoft Skype for Business, use the standard UC model.

      To set up features for remote call control and presence status, install Jabra Direct.
