    • How do I choose which softphone will be used by the headset if I have both Microsoft Lync and Cisco IP Communicator installed?

      It is possible to receive calls on either or both softphones, but to place a new call you need to select a preferred softphone.  You can do this with Jabra PC Suite:

      Please follow these steps:

      1.    Open Jabra Control Center
      2.    Under the View menu, select Advanced View

       

      3.    Click on the Softphone tab
      4.    Choose the preferred softphone for outgoing calls (choose Softphones supported by Jabra PC Suite to select the Cisco IP Communicator softphone or Microsoft to select Lync as your preferred softphone)

    • How do I enable/disable voice guidance on my Jabra Speak 510?

      The voice guidance is related to Bluetooth functions.

      You need to have firmware 2.7.0 installed on your Speakerphone Download Jabra PC Suite

      | How to enable/disable

      Enabling and disabling of the voice guidance is done through Jabra PC Suite. 

      1. Open the Jabra Control Center

      2. On the settings tab under “Enable voice guidance”, you can add or remove the checkmark.

      3. After your choice click Apply and then OK.

    • How do I switch between several Bluetooth connections on my Jabra Speak 510?

      Yes. It is possible to have several active Bluetooth connections with the device and switch between them.
      The feature to be connected to two mobile devices or connected to Jabra Link 360 and a mobile device is available with firmware version 2.7.0.  

      To upgrade to a new firmware version use Jabra PC Suite


      The following options are possible:

      • Connected to mobile device
      • Connected to Jabra Link 360
      • Connected to headset
      • Connected to two mobile devices
      • Connected to Jabra Link 360 and a mobile device


      | Switching connection

      Press and hold the Bluetooth button and tap the Volume up or Volume down button to cycle between the different options. The connected devices will be announced.

    • How do I enable/disable the feature which shows me my call status in Microsoft Lync?

      To show your call status in Microsoft Lync, you need to activate the Presence feature in Jabra PC Suite.

      Please follow these steps:

      1. Open Jabra Control Center
      2. Select the View menu


       
      3. Select Device Service Window.


       
      4. Select the Preferences tab.


       
      5. Select the checkbox next to Allow update of presence status when a call is initiated.

       

      6. Click Apply and OK.

    • How do I pair my Jabra Speak 510?

      It is possible to pair your speakerphone with a Jabra Link 360 USB dongle, a mobile device or a Bluetooth headset.

      If the Speakerphone has a previous pairing, remember to turn off or disable the Bluetooth on the previously paired device before proceeding with the pairing guide. 

      |Pairing with Jabra Link 360

      1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.

      2. If you want to pair with a Jabra Link 360 simply connect it to your computer now.
      Note that if you have any device that have been paired with the Jabra Link 360 before, please turn it off before connecting the dongle to the computer. Otherwise the device may pair up with the old device instead of the new device.

      3. It can take up to one minute for the speakerphone and Jabra Link 360 to pair.

      | Pairing with a mobile device

      1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds.




      2. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device (refer to your device manual for instructions), and select Jabra Speak 510.



      If asked for a pin code or passkey the code is: 0000 (Four zeros)

      | Pairing with a Bluetooth headset

      4. If you want to pair with a Bluetooth headset, you will have to press and hold the Bluetooth button for 8 seconds until it goes from flashing blue to flashing green.



      5. Put your Bluetooth headset in pairing mode (refer to your headset manual for instructions), and pair the devices.

    • How do I pair my Jabra Speak 510 with two Bluetooth devices at the same time?

      The following feature are supported with release 2.7.0

       

      If you need to upgrade please download and use Jabra PC Suite


      It is possible to be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
      When connected to two Bluetooth devices, the last device you pair with will be considered the primary one and is the only one where you can use voice dialing (if supported by your device) from the speakerphone.
      The redial function (if supported by your device) will only work on the device where you last made an outgoing call.

      The speakerphone supports multiple call handling from two devices.

       

      Note that the speakerphone will always try to connect to your primary device first.

      1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

      2. Make sure your speakerphone is turned on.

      3. To pair with the first device (secondary device) Press and hold (2 seconds) the Bluetooth button.



      4. Follow your device Bluetooth pairing instructions, and pair with the speakerphone.

       

      If asked for a passkey or PIN the code is: 0000 (four zeroes)

       

      5. To pair with your second device (primary device) press and hold (2 seconds) the Bluetooth button.

      6. Follow your device Bluetooth pairing instructions, and pair with the speakerphone.

      If asked for a passkey or PIN the code is: 0000 (four zeroes)

       

      You have now paired with two devices. It can take up to one minute for the speakerphone, to connect automatically with the paired devices. If the speakerphone stalls on connecting to your mobile device, connect to it from your mobile device Bluetooth menu.

      Launch Jabra Firmware Updater installed with Jabra PC Suite, and follow the Firmware Updater wizard.

    • How to find the firmware version of my device?

      1. ​Make sure you have the latest Jabra PC Suite.
      2. Then go to Start and open Jabra PC Suite Control Center or right-click on the Jabra PC Suite icon on the right side of the quick-start menu.
