  • How do I pair my Jabra Supreme with my mobile phone?

    The first time you turn on your Jabra Supreme, it is ready to pair with your mobile phone. Follow the voice-guided instructions to pair.

    To pair with a new or second mobile phone, follow these steps:

    1. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone.
    2. Turn off the Jabra Supreme by closing the boom arm.
    3. Press and hold the Answer/end button while simultaneously opening the boom arm. Release the Answer/end button when the light flashes blue.
    4. Follow the voice-guided instructions to pair with your mobile phone. Enter "0000" (4 zeros) if you are asked for a pin code.

  • How do I reset my Jabra Supreme?

    When you reset your Jabra Supreme, the list of devices that have been paired with it is cleared. Follow these steps to reset:

    1. Turn on your Jabra Supreme by flipping the boom arm to the ”on” position.
    2. Simultaneously press and hold (5 seconds) the Answer/end button and the Volume up button until the battery and Bluetooth lights flash.



    3. Turn off your Jabra Supreme by flipping the boom arm to “off” position. Your Jabra Supreme is now reset. When you turn it on again, it will be ready to pair.

    Note: When your Jabra Supreme has been reset, you will need to re-pair it with your mobile phone. Remember to delete the previous pairing before you re-pair.

    • Why does my Jabra headset not announce the caller's name during incoming calls?

      Make sure that your phone supports the Bluetooth phonebook access profile (PBAP) and that the name of the caller is stored in your phone book.

      Note that on some mobile phones, a warning message about access to the phone book appears in the top left corner. You must select this message and then agree to the connection in order for the caller ID feature to function properly.

      See the following prerequisites:

      • Your mobile phone supports the Bluetooth Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP).
      • During pairing, you must have allowed access to your phone book.
      • The calling number must be associated with a stored contact in the phone book.
      • The incoming call is not from an unknown, unlisted, or blocked caller.

      Note: Japanese only supports number readout. Chinese is supported only in Chinese Simplified.

    • Why do I hear static noise?

      Bluetooth is a radio technology, so it is sensitive to objects that are placed between paired devices and can block radio signals. To avoid poor sound quality, it is recommended that the distance between paired devices does not exceed 33 feet (10m), and that objects placed between the devices is avoided.

      The following are examples of objects that can block radio signals:

      • Walls
      • Doors
      • Windows
      • Environments with massive presence of Wi-Fi

      Low battery capacity in the Jabra headset and mobile phone may also affect the range.

      Note: Some Jabra headsets support a longer range, but are dependent on the mobile phone that it is paired with.

    • Why do I hear static on my Jabra Bluetooth headset?

      All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference which may affect performance. To eliminate static, try the following steps:

      1. Keep the headset on the same side of your body as your mobile phone.
      2. Avoid placing your mobile phone in a back pocket.
      3. Make sure there is a direct line of sight between your headset and phone. The Bluetooth signal may have difficulty transmitting through walls and other objects. Static or interference is sometimes environmental and can be caused by for example, computers, microwave ovens, and Wi-Fi.

  • Compatibility

    • Can I pair my Jabra device with my PC or Mac?

      Pairing your Jabra device with your PC or Mac is highly dependent on the specific model of your computer. Before you connect wirelessly, make sure your PC or Mac meets the following requirements:

      • The appropriate Bluetooth drivers from the manufacturer of your PC or Mac have been installed. Jabra does not supply Bluetooth drivers, and Jabra devices are therefore dependent on the drivers already installed on a PC or Mac.
      • Your PC or Mac supports the Bluetooth profiles that support your Jabra device. The Bluetooth profiles for Jabra devices are listed in the technical specifications that are located on the Jabra product support pages.
      • The latest operating system updates from Microsoft or Apple have been installed on your PC or Mac.

    • What is Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)?

      Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) is a Bluetooth profile that enables multimedia audio communication, such as music, between a Jabra headset and a supported Bluetooth device. A2DP is used in selected Jabra headsets.

      Note: A2DP is not supported by all Bluetooth devices. Check the user manual of your Bluetooth device.

    • What is PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile)?

      Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) enables a Jabra headset to access the phone book of a paired mobile phone, and announce the name of an incoming caller. It is similar to caller ID which announces the number of an incoming caller.

      To use the PBAP function, the following prerequisites must be met:

      • Your mobile phone must support PBAP.
      • When you pair your Jabra headset with your mobile phone, you must allow access to your phone book.
      • The number of the incoming call must be associated with a contact that is stored in the phone book.
      • The incoming call is not from an unknown, unlisted, or blocked caller.

      Note: PBAP in Japanese language only supports number readout. PBAP in Chinese language is supported only in Chinese Simplified.

    • Best practices for rechargeable batteries

      These guidelines apply to the use of batteries in general, and do not apply specifically to their use with Jabra headsets. To preserve and store rechargeable batteries, use the following guidelines:

      • Avoid placing batteries in direct sunlight.
      • Avoid placing batteries in extreme cold.
      • Do not store batteries for extended periods without recharging them, around every 3 months for most products.

      If you handle or store rechargeable batteries incorrectly, their lifetime may be reduced.
