If the Engage 50 II headset includes a controller, the headset can also be used with the original Engage Link controller (as used with the Engage 50).
If the Engage 50 II headset does not include a controller, compatibility with the Engage Link controller will depend on the length of the cable:
- A “Version: C” headset, with a 1.2m cable, is compatible with the Engage Link controller.
- A headset with a 1.6m cable is not recommended for use with the Engage Link controller, because the longer cord could affect signal transmission.
