Why can I not play music through my Jabra Bluetooth mono device but I can use it for calls?

Your Jabra device or connected Bluetooth device may not support the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), which enables multimedia audio communication, such as music, between your Jabra device and a connected Bluetooth device. Check the technical specifications for your devices to see whether A2DP is supported.

If your Jabra product does support A2DP, verify in your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings that your Jabra device is selected for media streaming.
