How do I connect my Jabra Pro 9400 / Go 6400 with Aastra 6753i, 6755i, 6757i?

Requirements:
Jabra Link 14201-10
DHSG connection cable from Aastra
Aastra 53i / 55i / 57i / 57iCT / 6753i / 6755i / 6757i / 6757iCT phone with firmware 2.5.1.2000 or later.

To connect your headset to your phone, follow these steps:

1. Plug the RJ9 connector (green) from the split end of the Aastra DHSG cord into the headset socket.
2. Plug the RJ45 connector (yellow) from the split end of the Aastra DHSG cord into the socket for the expansion module.

3. Plug the single end of the Aastra DHSG cord (blue) in the RJ45 adapter.
4. Plug the single end of the Jabra Link 14201-10 cable (blue) into the free socket on the RJ45 adapter.



5. Connect the split end of the DHSG cable to the Jabra device base as follows:
a. Plug the RJ9 connector into the socket with the complete “phone” symbol.
b. Plug the RJ45 connector into the socket marked “AUX”.

6. Follow the instructions on the Jabra device touch screen:
a. Select Phone settings.



b. Select Connect to a desk phone.



c. Select Manual.



d. Select adapter type DHSG.



7. Set the phone setup switch to position A.



8. We recommend setting the microphone volume to 7 out of 13.



As part of the installation, you can dial into your local Jabra setup server, which will configure the audio path. Follow the instructions shown on the display. If your Jabra setup server is unavailable, contact your local Jabra Support team.

Additional phone settings:
In version 2.5.1.2000, the DHSG mode is deactivated by default. You need to activate it using Aastra.cfg or mac.cfg using the command “dhsg:1”.

Set the Audio mode to Headset/Speaker:
Options>Default settings>Audio settings>Audio mode>Headset/Speaker

Note:
There is no option for remote call control when using an expansion keypad.
