    How do I connect my Jabra Engage to the Aastra 5370, 5380, Office 70, or Office 80 desk phone so I have remote call control using my headset?

    Prerequisites
    • Jabra Link 14201-10 Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) cable
    • Aastra Office 70 / 70 IP / 5370 IP / 80 / 80 IP / 5380 IP


    Connect your headset to your phone

    1. Plug the RJ10 connector (green) from the split end of the Jabra EHS cable into the phone socket marked with a phone icon  on the Jabra base.
    2. Plug the RJ45 connector (yellow) from the split end of the Jabra EHS cable cord into the AUX socket on the Jabra base.
    3. Plug the single end of the Jabra EHS cable cord (blue) into the socket marked with a headset icon on the phone.


    Configure your headset when connecting to a desk phone for the first time

    • For Jabra Engage 75/75SE, follow the onscreen setup wizard on the base.
    • For Jabra Engage 45 SE/65/65 SE, the initial setup is complete after connecting the cables.


    Additional setup information for your Jabra products

    • EHS cable/adapter type: DHSG.
    • Clear dial tone switch: set to position “A”.
    • We recommend setting the microphone volume to "7" out of 13.


    Phone settings

    • Menu Settings Phone setting Headset Headset ON
    • From release 7.9 and later: Menu Settings Audio Headset Headset ON
