Why do my new Jabra earbuds take longer to connect to a mobile device than my older Jabra earbuds?

Older models like the Jabra Elite 75t or Elite 85t only connects the right earbud to a mobile device, while the left earbud connects to the right earbud. This connection type restricts you to using the right earbud only in mono use.

Newer Jabra earbuds have a symmetrical Bluetooth connection, which requires both earbuds to connect to a mobile device. This connection type allows you to use either earbud in mono use.

Some users have noticed an increase in connection time as this newer connection requires slightly more time to establish the Bluetooth connection with a mobile device.
