What is the status light feature?
The status light on the headset indicates to colleagues when you are on a call and ‘busy’, or when you are not on a call and ‘available’. When used with Microsoft Teams for example, the status light will automatically change to red when you are on a call. By default, it is green when you are not on a call.
You can turn off the status light function using Jabra Direct version 4.x or later. Click Device Settings, Headset, and click Headset busylight to turn the status light function off/on.
Note
You can control the status light manually by using the Jabra Engage Link control unit, an optional accessory. For example, you can manually change the status light to red to show others you are busy.
