How to connect my Jabra GN9120 EHS / GN9125 EHS with Aastra Open Phone 63 and 65
Prerequisites:
Jabra GN9120 EHS or Jabra GN9125 EHS + Jabra 8800-00-93 + Aastra AZ – adapterJabra GN9120 Standard or Jabra GN9125 Standard
In combination with one of the following phones:
- Open Phone 63 / 65
System:
- Open Com 100 from EHS 5.2
- Open Com 1000 from EHS 3.2
Connection:
- Connect the 4-pin RJ10 to RJ10 connection cable supplied with the headset, to the socket marked with the “phone” symbol on the base of the Jabra GN9120 and the other end to the “handset” socket of the AZ adapter.
- Now insert the 8-pin RJ45 plug of the Jabra 8800-00-93 connection cable into the "AUX" socket on the GN 9120 base.
- Please connect the hollow socket connector to the socket on the AZ adapter marked with the “ bell” symbol and insert the 6-pin modular plug into the “second handset” socket on the AZ adapter.
EHS setup:
The Jabra GN912x must support and be set up to RHL EHS.
Proceed as follows to check the EHS mode:
- Place the headset in the base.
- Press the PLUS and MINUS buttons simultaneously for approx. 6 seconds until the online display on the headset starts to flash.
- The base will now display to you the EHS currently installed. The online light indicates "MSH", the pulsating light "RHL", the MUTE light "DHSG" and the battery display "AEI".
With the PLUS and MINUS buttons, you can now switch into the different EHS types.
To confirm the EHS has successfully installed, the base automatically switches back to charge mode after approx. 10 seconds.
Base setup:
The adjustment controller (small wheel) on the base must be set to "A".
Microphone level setup:
Please call someone with the headset. You must now simultaneously press the PLUS and MINUS buttons on the headset which immediately produces a signal tone.
You can now increase the microphone volume with PLUS or decrease the volume with MINUS.
To confirm, a low signal tone sounds in the background after 15 seconds. The settings are then automatically saved.
Phone setup
In the phone, you must activate "REMOTE HEADSET" from the options provided.
