    For some firmware versions of the Avaya 9608, headset signaling is not enabled by default. To enable this feature on your Avaya phone, use the following steps:

    1. Press the Home button.



    2. Go to Option & Settings, and then press Select or OK.
    3. Go to Call settings, and then press Select or OK.
    4. Go to Headset Signaling, and then select Yes or No by pressing Change or OK.
