How do the Jabra Sound+ features affect data usage on my smartphone?
The unique Jabra Sound+ features, such as the equalizer and HearThrough™, are installed locally. They do not use external data or affect your data subscription costs.
If the smartphone is connected to the Internet (or mobile data network), and you open Jabra Sound+ or connect to a supported Jabra audio device, Jabra Sound+ will check whether there are new app features, connected device features, or updates available. The data that is consumed by opening the app is estimated to be approximately 0.3 to 0.4 MB. The data that is consumed by updating firmware of the connected device is estimated to be approximately 3 to 5 MB.
