Why does my headset beep when it is connected to the amplifier?

The Jabra GN8000 and Jabra GN8050 amplifiers can be powered by two batteries. When the battery power is low, the amplifier provides a low beep tone in the headset about every 6 seconds.

It is recommended to replace these batteries by opening up the hood on the amplifer and opening the battery compartment on the right side.
