Jabra CRUISER2 gives you simple, verbal instructions on how to pair it with your mobile phone. It lets you know when the battery is low and it even tells you who is calling.
No installation necessary, just clip your Jabra CRUISER2 to the sun visor of the car, and go.
You don’t have to compromise call quality for safety. The speakerphone includes Noise Blackout technology and a dual microphone, which means you enjoy clear, understandable calls, without the annoying “speaker phone” sound.
Listen to podcasts, GPS directions or wirelessly stream your playlist to the Jabra CRUISER2, or to your car’s stereo system, using the speakerphone’s FM transmitter and A2DP technology.
Do not start using your headset until it is fully charged.
Plug the USB cable's charging tip into the socket on the speakerphone.
Plug the other end into the car charger and insert it into your car's power outlet.
When the battery status icon turns solid green your speakerphone is fully charged (approx. 2 hours).
The first time you turn your speakerphone on, it automatically enters pairing mode (the Bluetooth® icon will flash rapidly).
For later pairing:
Turn the speakerphone on and press the answer/end button for 5 seconds. Release the button when the Bluetooth® icon light flashes rapidly and you hear the voice announcement "pairing mode".
Your Jabra CRUISER has now entered into pairing mode and is ready for pairing with your mobile phone.
The speakerphone will give you further voice instructions.
Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the Jabra CRUISER. Follow your phone's instruction guide. This usually involves going to a "setup", "connect" or "Bluetooth" menu on your phone and selecting the option to discover or add a Bluetooth device.
Your phone will find the Jabra CRUISER.
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing "yes" or "OK" on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (four zeros).
Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccesful pairing, repeat the steps.
When the Bluetooth® icon shows a solid blue light and you hear the voice announcement "Connected" your Jabra CRUISER is ready for use!
Slide the on/off button to position on.
The Bluetooth® icon shows a solid light when your Jabra CRUISER is on and connected. The first time you turn your speakerphone on, it automatically enters pairing mode.
The call status icon will blink blue when you have an incoming call.
(The name of the incoming caller is announced if phonebook access is supported by your phone. If not, only the number will be announced).
Tap the answer/end button to receive the call.

These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. You may also simply need to reset the communication between your cell phone and the speakerphone.
Please try the following steps:
- Turn your cell phone off and remove its battery for 10 to 15 seconds. Once you replace the battery and turn the cell phone back on, it should work again.
- To reset the Jabra speakerphone, simply insert a small object into the hole found on the back of the unit and hold it there for a few seconds. When you turn the speakerphone back on, you will need to follow the pairing procedure again as pairing data is deleted during a reset.

All wireless devices may be susceptible to interference, which could affect performance. Please try the following:
- Keep the headset on the same side of your body as the phone.
- Make sure there is a direct line of contact between the headset and your phone. The Bluetooth signal may have difficulty transmitting through walls, buildings or people. Static or interference is sometimes environmental. Interference can be caused by computers, cordless phones, microwaves etc.

Please try the following steps:
- Increase the volume on the speakerphone.
- Ensure that the speakerphone is paired with the phone.
- Make sure that the phone is connected to the speakerphone. If it does not connect from the phone's Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button then follow the pairing procedure.

Bluetooth is a radio technology, which means it may be sensitive to objects between the speakerphone and the connected device. The speakerphone and the connected device may be used within 33 feet (10 metres) of each other, with no major objects in the way (walls, etc.).

You can use your headset with your Apple iPhone, but please note that while the headset is compatible for iPhone telephone applications, music applications may not perform correctly, e.g. Play/Pause, Skip Next/Previous, Volume Up/Down, etc.

The speakerphone is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher and support a headset, hands-free and/or advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP).

Please try the following steps:
- Make sure the radio is turned on and the speakerphone is in FM mode (FM Status Icon is on).
- If your radio is unabe to find the FM frequency set by your speakerphone via the search function, the FM frequency must be tuned in manually on the radio. Please read the radio manual to find out how to manually change the frequency. If your radio is in TA (Traffic Announcement) mode, switch TA off and your radio should be able to find your speakerphone when using the search function on the radio.
- If not tune in manually.The sensitivity of the search function on your radio determines, if it is able to find the frequency set by your speakerphone. On some radios you are able to adjust the sensitivity, thus making it possible to find the speakerphone frequency when searching. If not tune in manually. In urban areas, it might be difficult to find a clear frequency. It is therefore advisable to use a frequency in the lower or upper end of the FM frequency band (e.g. 88.1 or 107.7 MHz) where you will have the best chance of finding a clear frequency.

You may have deleted the in-car speakerphone pairing connection in your mobile phone. Refer to the section in the User Manual and follow the pairing instructions to pair it again.

Jabra speakerphones are not multipoint-capable. You can only have one phone paired with the speakerphone.

The headset can be charged from a PC/Mac using a USB cable, e.g. mini or micro USB cable. Not all products have a USB cable included in the packaging. If you do not have a suitable cable already, you can purchase one from our webshop:
